Well worth a visit. My husband and I had the pork belly bite and half lamb rack. The pork belly was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, while the lamb rack was juicy, flavourful, fall-off-the-bone tender, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. Absolutely delicious!
The best thing about this restaurant is definitely NOT THE FOOD THAT IS THE SHIT PART the best thing was the service. $60 for a thin piece of scotch fillet that even Coles has thicker pieces for less! Steak was dry and not worth it. Could have done better at home! Seafood linguine couldn't eat any of the mussels as none were open which means they are not edible! The mains did not come out at the same time even though a sitting for 2 people!!! Don't know why this restaurant gets good reviews??? Is it family giving the compliments! Maybe 🤔
Visited to celebrate my birthday with friends. We were a party of four and ordered lamb & pork ribs, steak and lamb shanks. The food was all perfectly cooked and all four of us were satisfied! Lamb shanks fell off the bone, ribs had an amazing bourbon sauce to it and portions were great for the price! (Especially the full rack of ribs!) The waitstaff were also friendly and full of smiles. Would definitely dine here again in the future!
We tried various dishes here and have to say that we preferred their meat dishes over the other dishes. The ribs were nicely cooked with a good marinade and added sides. The fried calamari entree was nicely cooked and flavoured whilst the chips were done well. However, the pasta was soggy and soft rather than al dente and mixed in with a really strong with unusual herbs and spices sauce - not very Italian, and the fried seafood and a bit tasteless lamb shank were average at best.
It's a restaurant where you can dine comfortably in a quiet environment. She welcomed us and took our order, which was very friendly. We were disappointed that it came out a little more overcooked than we had chosen, but the steaks were pretty good. I think it would have been better if the steak had been a little thicker. The tap beer was fresh, and the fried squid was the best. The next time we visit this restaurant, we're thinking of ordering a pork rib. It's slightly hidden in the alley, so please refer to it when you visit this restaurant.
