HASfit has been an essential part of my fitness journey. I've been training with Briahna for a couple of years now and it has been a positive experience for me. Here are a few things I love about HASfit: - extremely clean facility - top-notch fitness machines - nicely decorated restrooms stocked with things needed (in the women's restroom) gives it a nice homey touch - love that I am always greeted when I come in for my workouts - music is always playing which I enjoy - I also use the water fountain to fill up my water bottle since I always forget to fill it at home (crisp cold water) - My amazing trainer Briahna! A little info about my trainer: Briahna is very knowledgeable, and she has helped me with all the little challenges I have faced these past two years. She was able to modify my workouts for me when I have had back pain, wrist pain and most recently when I fell down the stairs at home. I truly believe it was our training sessions that prevented me from having serious injuries. She checks in with me via text and when I come in for my workouts. She always asks me how I am feeling and what I have eaten. From the day we started working out I have felt welcomed by her and encouraged. Her positivity and love for fitness has had a huge positive impact on me and my fitness journey. If you are looking for a gym that feels safe, is clean, welcoming and has extremely knowledgeable staff then HASfit is the place for you.
I truly cannot begin to express the gratitude I feel or the amazing experience I’ve had at HASfit - from the welcoming, supportive environment to, most importantly, my trainer, Briahna. Bri is an incredible trainer - emphasis on incredible. When I first started, even something as simple as lunges intimidated me. But when you work with someone who has such incredible patience and a genuine drive to help you grow stronger, it’s amazing what you can accomplish in just 5 months. She is beyond knowledgeable when it comes to movement and exercise. There isn’t a single exercise she’s given me that she hasn’t demonstrated herself, explained in detail, and walked me through step by step - including exactly where I should be feeling it. She takes it a step further by having you visualize proper form, and her analogy about placing a plate of spaghetti on my back or chest to make sure everything is straight and in position never fails to make me laugh. So does her high-spirited energy - the singing, dancing, and genuine joy she brings into every session. She has a way of making people feel incredibly comfortable, and as an introvert, that means more to me than I can put into words. At the same time, she knows exactly when to encourage and push you - in ways that only make you stronger in the long run. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve looked at her with uncertainty when she’s introduced a new exercise, but every single time her motivation and encouragement have helped me do things I never thought I’d be capable of. There’s real power in her personality, heart, and dedication to helping you reach your goals, and it shows in every session at 110%. You can expect check-ins not only on what you’re eating, how your muscles are recovering, and how sore you’re feeling - but also on how your day is going. Talking to someone who genuinely loves what they do and enjoys conversations beyond just fitness makes such a difference. She is the perfect balance for me, and I truly cannot thank her enough. With her help, in just five months, I’ve lost 18.8 lbs, dropped 12.1% body fat, and gained 7 lbs of muscle. My experience at HASfit has been nothing short of amazing and life-changing. Bri genuinely has your best interest at heart, and it shows in every conversation, helpful tip, correction, and suggestion around both exercise and nutrition. As someone who once hated the idea of anyone even looking at me in the gym, Bri and HASfit have completely changed that experience. REALLY 11 out of 10 stars!! I would to share that my first fitness consultation which was free btw plus $50 30 minute workout session experience with HASfit Personal trainer Elijah was well worth the 3.5 hours while traveling thru SA! Elijah showed me what I have to do to pursue my fitness goals and developed a custom workout for me and walked me thru it before going to his next client appointment. We also shared good laughs and he also gave me a complimentary HASfit shirt. AWESOME. I have already used it twice for my workouts and it fits great and dries fast. Thank you Elijah and Freddie, you all are the best! :D
Before I went to Hasfit, I had low bone density, with a FRAX rate of 10 years. My recent DEXA scan showed normal bone density. I am so grateful for the knowledge and experience of my trainer, Tyler! I feel so much better now!
I have been going to HAS Fitness for a year and worked with Tyler for the last 10 months and it has been a great experience. The gym itself is great and has all the equipment necessary to focus on a number of different goals (strength, cardio, etc). Working with Tyler specifically has helped me feel stronger and avoid injuries in the activities of daily life and being an avid cyclist. I appreciate Tyler's explanation of the science behind the movements and progressions. Highly recommend HAS and Tyler for your fitness journey.
