I have used Milwaukee Handyman a number of times. They are professional on time and do excellent work. Prices are excellent too
I will never work with Milwaukee Handyman ever again thanks to their contractor Bryan, which is a shame because I have multiple properties so this will cost them thousands of dollars (especially since I have other work I was going to offer them to do.) I had work done at one of my properties. One was a hand rail going down to the basement. first, Bryan put it so close to the wall you couldn't use it so he had to come back to fix it. Fine, no big deal. He did some exterior work to stop a water leak. After rainfall, the leak persisted so I requested he come back out to take another look. After repeatedly telling me, "I've never had this happen before" he agreed to come take a look. That was over 4 MONTHS AGO. I have contacted him every week for the entire 4 months, some times even multiple times a week in an attempt to get him to come out. Every time I got an excuse or straight up ignored. He would give me a date he says he will come out and then not show up. There were multiple times I drove to my property to meet him to let him in, only for him to not respond or say he can't make it. He has told me, "I'll come back out after this job is done on Thursday" and then say, "Sorry, working on another job." He's told me he can't come out because it just rained so it's too wet. Fine. But to only later tell me he can't come out because it hasn't rained and he needs to look at the leak. Which is it? I'm sure the IRS would like to know that Bryan only requests cash (after you show up with a check) so that he doesn't have to claim the work on his taxes. But even more so, I'm sure Milwaukee Handyman would like to know he's making their customers run to their bank to get cash because he won't accept a check. I've called Milwaukee Handyman to complain and they tell me, "Yeah, we have to get on him some times, we will talk to him." But then they don't follow up and make sure he actually goes out to do the work. Absolutely unbelievable. I will make sure to let everyone I know in Milwaukee to avoid them.
Jessie came out to give us an estimate on installing a bidet, fixing plumbing turn offs and checking old electrical wires. His estimate was very reasonable and he was able to stay and do the work right away. We were very pleased with his work and all around knowledge. Everything was done within an hour! Yay!! We will definitely be using this service again.
I want to give them 0 stars. Called and set up a time for a quote for a number of projects I wanted done around a house I was buying. Guy came out and was on time dressed professionally and was very nice. (Anthony I believe his name was) promised a quote end of the day or tomorrow) this was a Wednesday. On Monday and still no quote so I called their office. Nice lady answered and said I'll make sure he follows up with you today for sure. NOTHING. Tried calling Wednesday Thursday and now Friday. Left messages each time. No one will answer or call me back. Was happy to hire them if their quote was half decent. No one wants to make money. No one answers the phone. Would not recommend in any way shape or form. If they're this bad to start then how poorly will they treat my house and the projects?
I had a great experience with Kevin at Milwaukee Handyman. My husband and I recently moved to the area and our new house had an awkward narrow & deep closet in the dining room. I had a vision of having a built in china cabinet in that space, and even though I couldn’t really find an inspiration photo of what I wanted, Kevin totally made it happen. He was extremely flexible to our schedule, showed up when he said he would, and worked efficiently to create the custom built in of our dreams! I could not be more pleased with the service of Milwaukee Handyman, and especially Kevin’s craftsmanship on our custom project.
