I regret having to leave this review, because overall, the workers were nice and had pretty good communication. However, I spent around $1400 for a couple of things including oil change, brake fluid change and water pump replacement due to a coolant leak which they said it was the water pump. They replaced the water pump, and came out with the same issue - leaking coolant. Also noticed a new oil leak and my belt squeaking which was not present when I dropped it off. I sent the vehicle back, they checked around and said they saw nothing. Decided not to take it back for a third time and cut my losses. This is a review of the workmanship and not a review of the employees - as mentioned, they were nice both times I visited for this issue.
Both of the shops I usually go to were booked until December, and a friend recommended Urban Autocare. I was able to get my car in right away, and the whole process went really smoothly. The pricing was fair, and other than pointing out a burnt out bulb I hadn't noticed, they didn't try to sell me on 57 other repairs like some shops do. Happy to have another good option to call on when my car needs work!
30k Service was great, with all the tech of a dealer. Great communication before appointment about options and as they did the service telling me what was going on, and confirmed what maintenance things we wanted done va waiting to do later. Love that it feels like they’re focused on doing only the needed maintenance work versus checking every box whether it’s really needed or not. Would definitely go back for our next service or repair.
I live in the neighborhood and stopped in after a light came on in my Lexus when my brother changed my brakes and we realized a diagnostic tool was needed to reset them. They were able to help me the same day and quickly solved the issue. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was excellent! Jo greeted me right away, came out to the car with me, and made sure I felt taken care of. Lucas was knowledgeable, friendly, and resolved the problem quickly. I really appreciate how helpful and efficient the whole team was. I’ll definitely be back!
I’ve been taking my 99 4 Runner to Urban automotive for several years and would highly recommend you give Jo and her team a try. They’ve addressed some serious issues that are expected in a high milage vehicle allowing me, a non mechanic, to be confident the vehicle is reliable around town and the mountains. Give them a try .
