I’ve heard good things about this place however the food and the service is absolutely not worth the cost. Go anywhere else. I got the bass and risotto and asparagus. The risotto was not cooked fully and the asparagus was raw, the sauce on the fish what very bitter and it was raw towards the middle. I will always give waiters and waitresses credit however the servers here are not the right ones for the cost. One of the men looked like he was on some substance and our waitress was very quiet said maybe 10 words the whole dinner. She was an older lady and very slow, it’s not the job for her. Please save yourself the money and experience.
The ribeye was so good. And the chimichurri was excellent. We got the pork belly bao buns with our meal and we were not disappointed. The portions might look small, but that was because we split the meal.
My first visit to Vintage was extremely underwhelming. Our server Anastasia was sweet but not attentive, drinks and food were slow, and she was mostly absent. We ordered a filet and ribeye medium rare, but both came out medium well with cold sides. A gentleman named Hector, who appeared to be a manager, stepped in and said he’d fix it in 2 minutes, but it took 15. He offered a dessert, but he hovered over Anastasia in a way that made things uncomfortable. A sweet blonde server noticed we weren’t happy, and Hector rudely barked at her to buss our table even though it wasn’t her table. Overall, the food was not worth the price, and the management felt disorganized and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend dining here.
I have been on the hunt for some good fish and chips recently and they have some on the lunch menu here. Im so glad I came and tried. Better fish and chips than two fools AND quarter celtic and Im from England so I know my fish and chips. Its not like English style but its well done for being American. My Fiance had the carbonara and wasnt blown away he said it was a little flat but the appetizer quesidilla we got was fantastic! Will deffo be back for the fish and chips and the vintage espresso is to die for!!
Eleanor was THE best server. We had an incredible meal, the atmosphere was perfect and the drinks were amazing!!!! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious meal in ABQ.
