Mike the driver was punctual, pleasant and informative. The coach was comfortable and the vist to Hahndorf very interesting. An extra bonus was the presence of kangaroos by the path at Mount Lofty
As a first time visitor to Australia this was my 2nd Wine Tour since arriving, I had previously done a tour of the Margaret River region. I have to say that my tour of the Barrosa Valley was a 1000% improvement, from pick up to drop off, the whole day was an absolute delight. The wines were fantastic and the food at the Lambert Estate was delicious. On to the Chateau Tanunda for what can only be described as a fabulous experience. Our driver/guide/ and absolute fountain of knowledge Peter was the consummate professional who ensured every member of the party had a wonderful time. If you are ever in Adelaide and looking for something to do, give these guys a call. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
First time in Adelaide want to visit the Barossa Valley. Went to the old train station and picked up a number of brochures. Adelaide Sightseeing had prices included so I didn't have to go online to check. The tour we chose was fantastic. Driver awesome and coach very comfortable. The routes taken to the Barossa Valley and back, enabled us to see a lot of Adelaide.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day through the Barossa Valley on the Food and Wine tour. Our driver, Steve was very informative and we had lots of fun. Just as a tour should be. We visited Pindarie Winery which was one of the favourites for the day and then a stroll through the townships of Tanunda. Up to Mengler's Lookout and then a beautiful 2 course lunch at Lamberts Estate Winery. Food and wine were delicious. Then onto Chateau Tanunda for a tour through the wine making process and the history of Chateau Tanunda. Last but not least onto Maggie Beers farm for a nice coffee and a walk through their shop. What a picturesque drive down Seppeltfield Rd past lots of vineyards. What a beautiful part of South Australia to visit.
Went on the Barossa and Handorf highlights tour, wich included lunch and wine tastings. Our bus driver Athol had a lot of knowledge of the area and it's history as well as a great sense if humor. Jacob's Creek visitor center was a highlight of the tour, amazing wines and expert staff. Definitely recommend to people visiting adelaide or even locals who don't get out to the barossa much.
