We visited on a Friday at around 11am. It was fairly busy on the lanes but booked in a slot which gave us 30 minutes to explore the arcade. I loaded up a card with $35 that gave us $50 worth of credits. We had a few issues with tapping the card where it took two payments for one game. Something to be mindful of. We went back to the counter and the staff member happily refunded the charges. A few of the machines were out of order but still plenty of options and heaps of classics. It is very bright and loud (a given in an arcade) but there were a few times when the strobing made me uncomfortable. Keep this in mind if you're particularly sensitive. Bowling was great, we could wear our joggers which was super helpful. The spaces between the lanes is a lot tighter than I've experienced in other ten pin lanes. Was fine for us but would get a bit claustrophobic if you had a big group of people.
Archie Brothers Rundle Place is a seriously fun spot with great games, tasty party food and upbeat staff, making it an ideal choice for group events and nights out. We came here for a work Christmas event and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. Food and Drink (4/5): It’s not fine dining, but it doesn’t need to be. The food suits the vibe perfectly. We had pizza, sliders, tacos, chips and a bunch of other bites, all tasty and fitting for a fun, casual event. Drinks were flowing and everything came out on time. Entertainment and Atmosphere (5/5): This is where Archie Brothers shines. Bowling, arcade games, interactive activities… there’s a ton to do and it all adds to a lively, energetic buzz. The whole place has that funhouse feel, great for groups or anyone wanting a good time. Service (5/5): Staff were super friendly and welcoming. You can tell they enjoy creating a positive experience for guests, which really lifts the whole event. A great hangout spot with loads of entertainment, solid food and a fun atmosphere. Perfect for work events, parties or a night out with friends. Realistically a 4.5, but rounded up because the experience was top-notch. Fun, energetic and well run, ideal for group celebrations.
What a great little hidden gem in the heart of the city, we did the challenge room, arcade and bowling package and had a great time. Would be great if all the arcade games gave tickets for the prizes but overall it was great. The place is huge for what it is, the design and look of the place is awesome and the staff were fun and dressed for the role with cool uniforms in each different section. Good value for money and a great couple of hours with my family, we will definitely be going back again
Was served by the most amazing chick, Katlyn! From the moment I walked in, she was an absolute legend — super friendly, genuinely warm, and had a personality that could light up the whole room. It’s rare to come across someone who not only does their job well but also makes your day better just by being themselves, Thank you Katlyn! I will definitely be coming back to see her!!
So much fun! I love a good games arcade! The staff were super lovely. They have great deals on the Hijinx Hotel, Archie Brothers and Strike bowling so we got to enjoy all three. It was great to see the staff happy. Billy was especially lovely to chat with and she showed huge enthusiasm towards my kids, which absolutely made their night.
