Hijinx Hotel SA is a fun and quirky spot with games that are genuinely creative and engaging. Each room has its own charm, and the puzzles are a great way to spend time with friends or family. The only downside is that the games end a bit too quickly — just as you’re getting into the groove, the session wraps up. Still, it’s a unique and entertaining experience that’s worth trying, especially if you enjoy fast‑paced, themed challenges.
So much fun! We only did 5 rooms, but we enjoyed every minute of it. The staff are lovely and help make the experience. We would defiantly return and do it all again!
Lots of fun BUT very pricey! The staff are friendly, the place itself is not huge and the price per person is a little steep BUT you’ll have a lot of fun inside the Hijinx Hotel. On the school holidays it only cost $14 per child (for 5 games), and all up you only play for 30 minutes. When you’re spending $100 for a family of four, 30 minutes is not much time. In saying that though, you’ll get a great, intense, sweaty workout though, with your brain and body being put to the test. ONE piece of advice: PLEASE wear deodorant. Some people go to Hijinx and can really stink up the joint.
On Level 1 of Rundle Place. You get to choose how many activities your team wants to participate in. Best to have 5 in a team competing against another 5, so that you can compare scores after. There are 10 hotel rooms, we chose the $25 for half hour for 5 activities package. Each room contains 1 activity. It all happens so quickly. Some quick thinking activities and physical ones, fun experience and great for birthdays. There's a pub dining area serving some pizzas and alcohol.
This place is absolutely amazing! The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the whole venue has such a unique and cool aesthetic — I never expected to find something like this in Adelaide. The challenges and activities are so much fun, and they’re suitable for a wide range of ages. On top of that, the bar and food area is a great spot to relax in between games. With bumper cars, bowling, and an arcade as well, it’s the perfect place to bring friends or family for a fun outing. Highly recommend!
