We had a wonderful brunch, and Gillian truly made the experience exceptional. She was attentive without being overbearing, very mindful of our table, and had a great sense of humor that made the meal even more enjoyable. Friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming — excellent service all around. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have her again!
Today was my very first time coming to “Another Broken Egg” I had the pleasure of eating an apple fritter French toast with sunny side egg fried hard, the apple chicken sausage and a tequila sunrise. When I tell you very filling and very happy/buzzed. Our food was more on the expensive side due to the drinks we ordered. However, the menu is decently priced and would run anywhere between $15-$25 per person. Our server (Laurie), staff and restaurant in all were definitely beautiful through and through! Definitely returning!!!!!
Food was delicious, service was very good. I ordered the apple fritter French toast and crab cake Benedict with potatoes with veggies and a strawberry mimosa, it was very good, not too sweet, I would like a bit sweeter but the fresh blueberries were delicious and the cooked apples as well. The Benny was good as well. Mimosa was strong and very good, I definitely recommend. My waitress was Wendy, she was very kind and attentive. I also had the Manager come to my table and greet me which is always very nice. I always look up “best (breakfast,lunch,brunch,dinner) near me and Another Broken Egg had very nice pictures and good reviews. I will be back 😊
I’m not from the Virginia Beach area but being stationed here I know I love local places to grab a bite to eat for breakfast before heading to church. This place is one of the best places I’ve gotten to eat so far and I’ve been here for about 5 months now. My server, Ady, was so sweet and made my entire experience well worth the drive out. She was attentive and anticipated anything I needed before I even asked. The rest of the staff was wonderful as well but she is definitely the person I would want to have as my server again. Beautiful restaurant, good coffee, great food, and the music playlist is just the cherry on top. Chefs kiss haha. Loved my experience here.
Another Broken Egg Cafe is a fabulous addition to the VB breakfast scene. I went on a Sunday for brunch (busiest time for any breakfast cafe), and the wait time was extremely short and fair compared to other establishments. The menu selection is diverse, and the food is delicious. They have a gluten free and vegetarian menu, which is so hard to find (annoying given almost everyone has some kind of dietary restriction). Julie was a great server, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I love the coffee/hot drink mugs! The French toast is smothered in just the right amount of toppings where you don’t need to use syrup. The potatoes are salted and seasoned well. I will be back for sure.
