Hands down THE BEST INDIAN food in San Diego currently. Don’t argue with me about it this. I had lamb vindaloo it was delicious, the lamb was super tender and juicy. They weren’t stingy with the lamb and potato’s. The butter chicken was really good. I had a garlic naan it was standard but good and I had Dal soup. Now the dal soup threw me for a loop with the different types of beans in it. I thought it was only supposed to be lentils, but it was good as well. I will be returning EVERYONE SHOULD CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!
We had a wonderful family dinner at Bhatti in San Diego! The food was absolutely delicious, full of rich flavors and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is nice and modern, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Raj and Fernandez took amazing care of us, they are attentive, friendly, and truly welcoming. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving great Indian food and excellent hospitality!
Visited Bhatti Himalayan Grill Indian Cuisine for their lunch buffet with family today. Having read glowing reviews online, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the experience turned out quite underwhelming. From the moment we walked in, the place felt like a newly managed setup with bright decor but limited seating capacity. Around 30% of the booths were occupied when we visited, yet there was only one staff member handling everything from managing tables to running the cash counter. The service was, quite frankly, one of the dullest we have experienced in our 15 years in this town. The server appeared disengaged, did not check on our table even once, and there was no basic acknowledgment or courtesy. We had to flag them down for the check, which was processed with zero interaction. Coming to the food, the $17.99 per adult buffet was disappointing. The spread was minimal, as seen in the photos, with very limited options from appetizers to main course and dessert. There was just one dessert item, and even that was mediocre. The overall flavor profile was mild, which was not the issue, but the lack of freshness and variety stood out. We drove over 10 miles expecting a memorable meal, but the experience felt flat from start to finish. On the positive side, the kids did enjoy a couple of the chicken dishes, which were decent. Safe to say, this was our first and likely last visit to this restaurant.
This was my 2nd time coming here! My friend and I ordered shrimp tikka masala, mango chicken masala, and garlic naan. Super yummy! Staff is super friendly and portions here were perfect. Will definitely be coming back here again! I still need to try their lunch buffet :D
This is the 2nd time we've come here. We always get the food and take it home, but it was so delicious we know we'll be back often! The service was great, and they were quick and helpful with any questions. I highly recommend the lamb curry!
