What could be a nice place is gradually turning into a junkyard of decaying and sinking pedal boats. Has been going on for years and years. What a shame. Please clean up.
We rented a pedal boat for an hour. The price was reasonable, and we really enjoyed it. The place also offers food (though it wasn’t particularly tasty). The staff was friendly.
Great area and wonderful boat ride! However, both the guy helping us get into the boat and the guy at the refreshment stand (where you also buy the boat tickets) were rude. They both had an attitude and were not friendly at all. Absolutely zero customer service. The overall boat ride was very beautiful, and I would come back again to experience it! Just don’t expect friendly smiles from the workers.
Our favorite place in the park! The best Garlic Fries in the world! The Boathouse Snack Bar is awesome Kyle is really awesome!
5 visits. Great relaxing location and the food is really good (2025). previous years the food was OK, but significant improvement since my last visit. Fresh grilled chicken and chopped salad. YUM! It is a regular stop for me in Golden Gate Park.
