This is a hidden gem in dc! I was here from out of town and needed a ring resized. Tan was so helpful and managed to turn around the job in just one day! Totally reasonably priced and superstar service. He runs this small business on his own and has the workshop in the back so able to provide quick and expert service with a smile!
Tan did an absolutely phenomenal job on my engagement ring, and I’m heads over heels in love with it! My partner had it designed custom and it was above and beyond what I imagined. The wedding band is gorgeous in its own right, and I can’t recommend Ideal Cut Jewelers enough. 12/10 amazing, if you’re looking for something special you’ve got to check this place out! Tan is by far the best jeweler I have ever worked with. His craftsmanship is top notch, the prices are unbeatable, and turnaround time for projects is always great. He guided us through designing our wedding bands, offering thoughtful suggestions that made the final pieces feel uniquely ours. Later, I brought in an old family ring and, with his help, surprised my wife with a breathtaking custom ring and matching earrings. She was speechless. The quality of his work is truly exceptional—and the prices are almost unbelievable. You walk out with heirloom-quality pieces for a fraction of what you’d expect to pay anywhere else in D.C. Tan is honest, generous with his time, and incredibly skilled. Every time we leave his shop, we find ourselves thinking about what we can create next. I genuinely want to buy more gold and diamonds just to see what magic he’ll make with them.
