We recently had our rehearsal dinner at Mill City Event Spaces and it was absolutely perfect! The rooftop was stunning and the main floor area was superb for our dinner. Daniel and the staff were incredible – professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to make everything seamless. Highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for beautiful spaces and exceptional service. Thank you for making our pre-wedding celebration everything we dreamed it would be!
We recently had the pleasure of doing a small install for a Friday night wedding at Mill District Event Spaces, and we can't say enough good things about the experience. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. The space itself is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully used —such a perfect blend of historic charm and modern functionality. Highly recommend for anyone planning an event!
We recently hosted our annual corporate meeting at Mill District Event Spaces, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding! From planning to execution, Daniel and the team were attentive, professional, and accommodating. The venue is stunning—historic meets modern, with plenty of space for our 100-person event to have room to enjoy presentations, relocate into other areas for breakout sessions, hold breakfast and lunch buffets with drinks and snacks in between, and most importantly room for our team to mix, mingle, and connect. The service throughout our full day event was exceptional. The food & beverages provided by Mill District Event Spaces for lunch, dessert, and snack breaks were delicious and of a good variety, and we received really positive feedback on that from our team who attended the event. I especially appreciate the venue being equipped with AV/tech needs all the way down to the window coverings and light dimming options to capture the perfect ambiance for our event! And the team seamlessly facilitated coordination with their preferred AV consultant to ensure our agenda flowed smoothly and with excellent AV production! Mill District Event Spaces truly elevated our event and helped us create a memorable experience for our team. Highly recommend for any organization looking to host a polished, professional, and high-impact event inside a one-of-a-kind historic venue in Minneapolis! We can't wait to come back next year!
We had an amazing celebration at Mill District Event Spaces on Jun 25, 2025 for MNCREW’s 30th Anniversary! The space is incredible, combining historical flooring and columns with modern touches, and all the updated tech you could ask for. Food and Beverage were all outstanding, and Daniel was a dream to work with! Everything leading up to the event was handled as though it was his event too - his passion and dedication are incredible. Even though we had to abandon our after-dinner rooftop plan due to rain, the event was a spectacular success as everyone at Canopy pivoted without a hitch. We really couldn't have asked for a better partnership for this event. Very impressed with everyone involved and we recommend the Mill District Event Spaces to anyone looking to throw a fun event in a gorgeous space with the dedicated and professional team at Canopy by Hilton.
Just toured this place and while the indoor area is under construction, its going to be so beautiful. Plus they have a rooftop that overlooks all of Minneapolis. Can't wait to have my event here!
