I had wanted to take some self-defense classes for a while and never followed through. One day, I finally made the leap and found Premier Martial Arts Plano. From day 1, I felt welcomed and it really put my mind at ease. Starting a new program learning new skills can be daunting, but it wasn't just the coaches who helped to make me feel comfortable, but the students as well. One gentleman introduced himself and gave me the "lay of the land" so-to-speak. This immediately took my anxiety down a notch or two. The other students have gone above and beyond to show such great compassion for each other as we all learn to improve ourselves. The reviews spoke highly of Coach Adrian, Abraham and Junior and I will say, they were not wrong! They have a great passion for martial arts and that really shows through their coaching. They also take time to ensure that you understand the techniques and if not, they'll break it down further for you. At the end of the day, it's about feeling confident in yourself and the skills you've learned. If you've been on the fence about taking some self-defense classes, come jump in with us! You just might surprise yourself of what you are capable of!
7-year-old daughter had her first intro lesson tonight. Wonderful coaching and instruction! She was already saying "Yes mam", opening the door for me, and said, "Time to clean my room now" as soon as we returned home. All kids need this!!!
Coach Adrian continues to do a great job with my son. After 2 1/2 years, my son is now just 4 belts away from achieving his black belt. The other coaches Abraham and Junior are awesome, too! Thanks to all of you for coaching my son Dalton to do his best every class.
My son has been attending since 2019 and I’ve been attending adult classes for 2+ years. Love the school, the teachers and what they are teaching to their students. Myself included! For the kids, it’s teaching discipline and focus. For the adults, good fitness and also a great opportunity to learn and an encouraging environment with other adult students.
