We were out for a walk in the woods and our dog was running off leash and sliced open her back while running through thicket. It was a Saturday afternoon at 3 PM and our vet was closed for the day. Thank goodness for UrgentVet! We were able to walk right in and get attention and staples for our dog on the spot. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, and the cost was very affordable. I was in a similar circumstance with the same dog about three years ago and paid more than twice as much. I will continue to use them for every emergency. Their hours are very convenient.
The entire team is amazing! Audra was patient, compassionate, and thorough. The doctor explained everything clearly and answered all my questions without rushing me. You can tell that they all genuinely care about animals and I have complete trust that my dogs are well cared for, safe, and loved. I highly recommend!
Absolutely loved the experience my dog and I had here. My poor pup Layla had a botfly and I was so scared, but the staff – especially Andie – were incredibly caring and patient. Andie explained everything step by step, answered all my questions, and treated Layla like she was her own dog. She made the whole process so easy and helped calm both of us down. The clinic felt clean and welcoming. Overall, this was the best experience I’ve ever had at a vet. Layla is doing great now and I’m so grateful we came here. Thank you all so much for taking such good care of my girl!
Just moved here to Texas a week ago and was panicked yesterday because my dog would not stop throwing up. Obviously not knowing anything in the area, looked up the nearest urgent care and had an AMAZING experience! Made an appointment online and headed right over, checked in at the kiosk and someone came out immediately and asked "is this skye?" And once I confirmed we were taken back into a room immediately. They were really busy so there was a bit of wait time in between everything but they communicated that well and kept apologizing for the wait. My dog is usually incredibly anxious and can get a little nippy, but everyone we encountered was so kind, gentle, and patient with her! She was surprisingly calm and even let the vet tech actually carry her back. The pricing was broken down and explained wonderfully, and they didnt make me feel like a bad owner when I declined some of the treatment as I wanted to wait on some things that weren't 100% necessary until we establish her with her primary vet. She got what she needed, went home with fluids and nausea meds and is doing so much better!!! Thank you to everyone who helped my baby feel better yesterday!
Updated to add that Muffin is doing extremely well. I've noticed nowadays anything that lands you at the vet is always thought to be pancreatitis... thankfully it was not. I had a wonderful experience at UrgentVet, thanks to Dr. Oh and Morgan. Both were incredibly helpful, kind, and understanding throughout our visit. Dr. Oh gave us such helpful advice for Muffin and his quirky "awkward boy" behavior — we really appreciated the thoughtful tips and insight into how to help him feel more comfortable. On top of that, Dr. Oh had a great sense of humor, which made the visit even more enjoyable. We especially loved the parrot story — definitely lightened the mood and made us feel at ease. Thank you to the whole UrgentVet team for taking such good care of Muffin. We left feeling informed, and grateful! We will keep you updated on Muffin. Thank you.
