Prospect Studios has been an amazing experience for our family. My son studies drums with Vernon, and he genuinely loves every lesson. Vernon is an excellent teacher—patient, motivating, and great at tailoring lessons to the student’s interests and level. My son is more excited about music than ever. I highly recommend Prospect Studios to anyone looking for quality music instruction.
My teenager is really enjoying electric bass lessons with Vernon, so much so that they want to add acoustic guitar. Vernon is patient, passionate and very knowledgeable. My kid has tried many activities and hasn’t found many that they truly enjoy. However, weekly lessons with Vernon have been a positive and consistent experience. It’s fun to talk about the artists they explore playing each week. The studio is welcoming, relaxing and very cool.
Our son has been loving his drum lessons with Vernon. His passion for music has been a huge inspiration, and has encouraged him to discover different bands and learn to play some of his new favourite songs. Vernon is incredibly patient and kind. He has a knack for breaking down complex songs into simple steps, which keeps our son engaged and excited. Our son especially loved some of his themed lessons - Ghost Busters for Halloween and The Grinch for Christmas. Vernon always keeps it fun and his lessons are something we look forward to every week!
I’ve had a great experience taking bass lessons at Prospect Studios. Vernon is super knowledgeable, patient, and tailors each lesson to your goals and skill level. The studio has a relaxed, professional vibe that makes learning fun and motivating. Highly recommend for anyone looking to level up their bass playing!
I'm new to guitar. I've done a couple months of lessons with Vernon. He's a good communicator about technique and efficient ways to change chords, which helps me pick up on things faster. He's a terrific guitar player himself. I'm enjoying the lessons very much and making progress more quickly than I expected. I'm working on songs I didn't think I'd be able to play at this early stage. It's encouraging. I'm looking forward to what comes next.
