If you are traveling for work and still want to keep that fitness routine intact, The GYM West Oakland is perfect! It was great for my nursing assignment in the Bay Area. 24/7 access, garage style gym, with recovery/PT available in house as needed. Month to month auto payments available. Cancel anytime. A wide variety of trainer styles available. Open Gym. Clean Equipment, shower available. Friendly staff. As someone who loves open gym style training, this worked great. Only thing that would make this gym even better is a leg curl/leg extension machine, but I was still able to get what I needed regardless! Thanks for the hospitality during my stay.
Chris and the crew are awesome, and create a welcoming environment for newbies like me. It’s great to see emphasis on technique and form over just pushing weight, which everyone I know that’s done CrossFit tells me to watch out for. It’s been a couple months coming to this gym and continues to be a lot of fun. Can’t recommend this place enough!
I started coming in September and really enjoy my sessions with Chris. He has good workouts and is very encouraging and supportive. Of the people I met, everyone is friendly and chill. Great place to come if you’re new to weightlifting or more advanced.
