After being ignored by the at-fault party’s insurance and not receiving straightforward answers, I reached out to Classic Collision to get clarity on what was going on with my vehicle. Ashley at the front desk didn’t initially have all the answers, but she immediately got the ball rolling with the insurance company and was able to get me clear information in a very timely manner. I truly believe that without Ashley’s assistance, I would still be waiting for the insurance company to get it together. She went above and beyond to provide the answers that insurance failed to deliver. Additionally, despite never having met Ashley before, when I walked into Classic Collision she immediately knew who I was—which was incredibly impressive. Her level of attentiveness and customer service was outstanding
Highly recommend. I had an incredible experience. Not only were they professional but they took the time to check on our son in the NICU. My car was detailed inside and out before I came for it. It smelt and looked beautiful. They even offered to deliver my car since we've been locked up in the hospital. Great people and work. Hope I won't be back anytime soon but if I ever need work done again I will never go anywhere but here.
The front desk crew at this shop is very friendly. However, the work I’ve had done to my truck is nowhere near the quality I would expect for the multiple thousands of dollars I’ve spent. I have a long bed Tacoma with a decked system and cap. The cap was placed incorrectly when it was put back on so that it overhung my tailgate by a very noticeable inch and a half. Additionally, the lights in my cap no longer work—I’m guessing the crew messed up the wiring somehow. The driver’s door had to be replaced, and when I finally got my truck back, the window (which was totally fine when I left my truck with CC) would not roll down, so I arranged to bring my truck back AGAIN. I waited while it was fixed; when they said it was done, I tried to roll it down and the whole window rotated forward as it slid very slowly down—it was more broken than it had been an hour prior. The first thing CC did was write up a quote to repair the window motor! There was no way I was giving them more than the $12K+ I had already spent; only when I pointed out that they couldn’t guarantee they hadn’t dropped my window motor on the floor when they dismantled my door, or stepped on the motor, or did something else to it that caused it to malfunction, did they agree to fix it without charge. It turned out the new door was misprinted by Toyota, causing the window to track improperly—so not my motor at all. Classic Collision did finally get another new door on there and everything on it works fine now. However, tonight when I went to plug in my truck, I realized the mechanics managed to sandwich the plug for my block heater between the frame and the front bumper so that I can’t access it! So now I’m going to have to deal with fixing THAT, too. I live in Seward, so each of these mishaps created by the repair crew at the Gambell Classic Collision means taking time off work to take my truck to Anchorage. All told, my truck has been in their shop for four months of this year; I’ve had to pay out of pocket for these expenses, plus rent a car for all those months. I am NOT happy and strongly recommend you take your vehicle anywhere else.
Everyone was so kind, accommodating, and professional. They did an amazing job at repairing my bumper and making the process as stress-free as possible. I also appreciated the detail work inside my vehicle. I highly recommend.
I brought my F-150 to Classic Collision on Gambell for rear body repairs, and the results have been disappointing. The paint on the repaired area is already bubbling, indicating poor surface preparation. The topper’s brake light now stays on continuously due to incorrect wiring during reassembly. The tailgate bumper was left detached. The license plate lights were not reconnected, creating a safety and compliance issue. I expected professional work, but instead I’m left with multiple defects that need to be corrected. I have contacted the shop to request warranty repairs and hope they will take responsibility and fix these issues promptly. Until then, I cannot recommend this location based on my experience. If you use them, inspect your vehicle carefully before leaving.
