We were seated quickly by the kind host and our server Faith was quick to greet us. Even as the restaurant filled she was sure our glasses stayed full and that we were happy with our meals. People like her make the experience! The prices seem high until you get your meal, it is very hearty and we left more than full! Thanks again to Faith. Lovely experience, I will be returning!
Loved the food and the prompt service! The waitress was super friendly and caring! I got the chicken and waffles with maple syrup on the side! If you are looking for a heavy brunch GO FOR IT, with a banana-berry shake!!!
The interior here is super cute and bright! Beautiful design. Our waitress, Mari was kind of lethargic and not totally all there or engaged. I ordered a coffee with cream and my boyfriend ordered a water and an orange juice. She brings two black coffees. We get her attention again and my boyfriend reminded her he ordered orange juice and water - just comes back with the orange juice. I guess whatever she was doing on her cell phone kept her distracted from doing her job. On a happier note the food was fantastic. The hollandaise sauce is delicious. Good portion sizes and I really appreciate that they use beef tallow to fry their potatoes in! Food was amazing and I'd go back to try a few other things on their menu.
We tried OEB breakfast for the first time. It had a nice atmosphere. Staff are helpful. We came across many options. It was the most comprehensive breakfast menu, I have seen in my life. We tried classic breakfast and poutine plates. We liked it so much.
Food was good. Service was better. We were all cranky with arriving to the hotel at 2am and couldn't really sleep so came here as soon as it opened. Kids were just driving us crazy. My wife was a little short tempered. But the server treated us very kindly. Wife had the chasing chicken, kids shared the scrambled kids menu and I had the farmer John's. Food was pretty good. But what you'd expect from a brunch place. Prices were less than what I thought it would be. Definitely worth a try.
