I recently purchased tickets for the gift of lights for last weekend, and unfortunately due to a snow storm - we couldn’t go for the date I booked. I called and the woman that answered was so nice and let us move our tickets to tonight without any hesitation. Thank you so much for doing this, my daughter was so thrilled it made her day!
Gift of Lights - went to the Gift of Lights walk with Santa night. It was cold but not snowing which was nice. The walkway was covered in puddles from the previous rainy days though, so you need to wear good boots that are waterproof or your boots will be soaking wet. Makes for an uncomfortable experience. The light displays were okay, but seemed dated and some were not clear on what they were. Much more suited for families with young kids. Took about 35 mins to walk through with taking pictures, but I would imagine it would be 25 mins if you just walked with no stops.
This was our second year visiting the Gift of Lights at Bingemans, and it has officially become a family tradition for us. The drive-through experience takes about 25 minutes, and there are so many beautiful and creative light displays the entire way through — it never feels boring or repetitive. Buying tickets online is super easy and convenient, which makes arrival stress-free. We always grab hot chocolate, and this year we made it extra special by bringing homemade Ugly Sweater cookies to enjoy in the car while taking in the lights. It was such a cozy, festive experience. Everything is well organized, family-friendly, and perfect for creating holiday memories. We look forward to this every year now and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and festive holiday outing.
We had an amazing experience at Gift of Lights at Bingemans in Kitchener! The drive-through display was beautifully done with so many vibrant, festive light scenes that truly got us into the holiday spirit. Everything was well organized, easy to follow, and perfect for families, especially with kids, who absolutely loved it.
I read lots of mixed reviews. We didn't have any issues while there. The things that need to be worked out weren't super noticeable to our family. The only thing that should Maybe be improved is lighting. At night it is a very dark walk to the bathrooms (we stayed in the cabins) and there wasn't near enough garbage bins around the place I feel. But we kept our garbage and dropped it off when full so again not a huge deal.
