To any one born before 1995: if you ever went bowling as a kid then this place will take you back to that time. To a time when everything was neon and carpets looked like a magic eye pattern. To a time when computer graphics showed every pixel. To a time when you could see every decision was made by a person and not a corporate strategy. We had the chance to talk to the family that owns this place and they were as friendly and helpful as you can get. 5 pin bowling was a lot of fun and I can’t express enough just how much we loved the personality of this place.
came here as a “field trip” paid for by Greenway Community Center, with friends and 2 adults, it was really fun, it genuinely reminded me of 90s Arcades and was the closest I could get to that. didn’t try any of their food, had a can of (free) soda and a bag of chips, the bowling was fun, not as modern as Kingpin, but was up to my expectations since I’m a teenager lol the bathrooms had this cute pirate theme and was clean, so I got no complaints only thing I didn’t like was how busy it was, but we booked on a Saturday and there was a lotta kids there might come again for the vibes 😼
Our family had a great time! I think it was over $100 for all 6 of us to go bowling. We also added mini golf on top of that, which we especially enjoyed! The painted structures were really cool! That said, this place isn't a high end place, but we came in just wanting a simple bowling and mini golf experience. My hubby mentioned that the ground wasn't completely flat for the mini golf. I didn't notice that myself. The bowling lane computer system got messed up at one point, but the guy came right away and fixed it, without us having to ask him. If you want a simple bowling and mini golf experience and you don't have high expectations, then this is the place for you. We didn't buy any food. We went on the weekend and no one was using the other lanes for 30 minutes, so booking the lanes in advance probably isn't necessary. Later, a couple of lanes were being used. They have 5 and 10 pin bowling. Food: Yes. I wish I had noticed the cupcake store beside the bowling place; I didn't realize it was there until after we left. Washrooms: Yes. They were clean. Wheelchair accessibility: It does not appear to be in any way. I saw a guy carrying a stroller down a large flight of stairs. There is no elevator that I could see anywhere. This place is on the second floor. There might be an elevator or incline behind that painted door though beside the stairs. See my pic. Call to ask.
Id say before entering, be reasonable with your expectations. If you're hoping for a modern, chain style big bowling alley you will be disappointed. If you remember old school alleys and can deal with that, you'll be just fine here. Yeah, sometimes the pins stick/ screw up, yeah the lanes might not be the straightest and professional quality, I dunno I'm a casual bowler and bring my kids here. For that purpose, it's great. 5 and 10 pin, so we always do 5 because my kids can't really handle the bigger 10 pin balls. Have old school bowling alley expectations when it comes to the food as well. We've tried the pizza and we've tried the hot dog and fries. The pizza is basic but not bad, the dog and fries not great. But I grew up in a time where bowling lane food was expected to be terrible and people didn't have high expectations. Also has a small mini golf, old arcade games and a pool table (never tried any of this) It also has a great air hockey table that doesn't time out like new tables and it costs a buck, can't beat that. The tables and bathrooms are clean. Overall, maybe my review should be more like a 3.5-4 but it's a small business, it looks to me like they do the best with what they have and I'm reasonable with expectations.
Had a good time here, - The mini golf course wss surprisingly fun for such a small course ( 9 hole ) - except the last hole was a dissapointment but price was reasonable - also played a game of 10 pin bowling which was pretty good, except the grouo next to us took up all the seating right in front of our lane they spread themselves out ( have some common sense) - 1 game which lasts around half an hour was almost $23 I saw they also had an air hockey table although it looked kind of wedged into a corner. I’m not sure how good it would be to play on and they also have a few RK games but you get tickets for you for the prizes. The basketball game has no lights or sounds which I thought was weird * highly recommend making a reservation for the Bowling, especially if you’re coming on a weekend because they don’t have that many lanes they can fill uo quickly
