Gracie Humaita is much more than a place to learn Jiu Jitsu. As Professor Leandro preaches, it is the lessons you learn on the mats week after week that transform you. While the practice is not easy, the people here sure make it enjoyable. You will walk in day one and think everyone has super powers. If you keep showing up, you still will not have super powers BUT you will have good Jiu Jitsu, good friends, and a better outlook on life’s challenges. I can’t recommend this gym enough to anyone in Pinellas. Show up and you will be greeted with open arms that will turn you into a pretzel (kindly)!
My son trains here and absolutely loves it. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and really great with kids. If you’re looking to get your child into jiu-jitsu, this is an amazing place to start. They teach discipline, confidence, and real skills in a supportive environment. The coaching is exceptional, but the real gem is the supportive community of experienced members who are more than happy to assist you in your learning journey. My two kids have been in the kids’ class for almost two years now, and the coaching is top-notch. The coaches are patient and create a fun and engaging learning environment for the kids. If you’re looking for a place to grow your Jiu jitsu skill set there isn’t a better place in the area!
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu St. Pete is great! The instructors are skilled, patient, and make classes fun and challenging for all levels. Their kids’ program is fantastic—my kid loves it and is gaining confidence and skills in a safe, supportive environment. Highly recommend for adults and kids alike!
Absolutely love this place. It is very well organized and clean. The instructors are very nice, professionals, friendly and make sure everyone knows the technique while ensuring safety. If you’re interested in learning Brazilian jiu jitsu in a training center where beginners feel safe to start their own journeys, then look no further! Great staff overall, the instructors are clearly experienced in their field and will guide you patiently. I can’t thank you all enough. Amazing place!
