First of all, just want to say that we came here cause we read somewhere on the news, they are top 10 in the States. Second of all, to us, this is a 1/10 for several reason: 1. We arrived on a Wed afternoon and thought oh, we're pretty lucky when they said they had a table for us. Turned out it is a shared corner for 2 - but tbh we would have been ok if they let us know ahead of time. 2. Pizzas were 12'', to us its enough portion for 1. Price is $23-26 each. We orderer some lamb pizza that the waiter suggested and another Margarita. Margarita was average and Lamb one taste like cardboard, feel like they just overdid it to the point that after dinner, our jaws were hurting (no exaggeration here). 3. Alcohol was ok, price is $12-13. Last thought, we wouldn't come back unfortunately. Not sure if something changed over the time but this is BAD pizza - almost like eating cardboard.

Quite honestly have we all lost our minds? Anyone who is attentive to the process of pizza preparation can make a delicious pizza but to sell it at exuberant prices is ludicrous, and to purchase it at these prices is foolish. Our party of 4 ordered one Brooklyn, one Prosciutto, and one Lamb six-slice, thin crust pies. The flavors were delicious, the fire-roasted effort burnt all of the pies. Properly oven baked doesn’t mean burnt, it means the oven is too hot. So, three out of three pies burnt is bad and for $26.00 each it actually is horrible odds. The Caesar Salad for $16.00 is over priced for seasoned Romaine lettuce. Two Margaritas, one Manhattan, and one Pinot Gris satisfied the high expectations and gratitude for a quality crafted beverage. The servers were superbly friendly and Shaina was remarkably cheerful for hustling in this establishment’s bustling environment. This venue is so popular that lines form outside and stretch around the corner of the block. Once inside, you may have a difficult time hearing the conversation you hoped to have while attempting to socialize with your people. The remarkable discovery is at the time you receive your bill. There is a mysterious unidentified and unaccounted charge of $6.00 added without justification. So, when one provides the generous tip suggestions starting at 20% on a $140.00 bill, then one finds the night costing $44.00 per person for a drink and some burnt pizza. Ludicrous and foolish. After calling Ken’s to inquire about the mysterious $6.00 charge, no return was provided, no explanation. Dispute filed with my credit card company. I was refunded the $6.00. So, the overall experience at Ken’s is bad business, burnt pizzas, bad atmosphere, bad parking, bad handicap access, bad kid friendly, bad prices. The hype does not stand up to scrutiny. See something, say something!

Truly, best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. It was a long wait, but certainly worth the wait! Staff are pretty friendly, the environment was pretty cool to.

Delicious food!!! Great pizza, great appetizers. We showed up to the restaurant at 6:30 on a Friday night, and it was PACKED-people waiting out the door. We ended up waiting around 75 minutes to seat 3 people but the restaurant provides a nice waiting area for guests where you can order drinks. Good beer (IPA: 5/5) and a strong Manhattan (4.5/5). The food? Fantastic. The Market Salad was one of the best salads I ever had (and I'm not a big salad girl!) The cherry tomatoes were super ripe and sweet and the grilled shallots added a lot to the flavor. There is huge variety in the ingredients and it was so yummy. The meatball and calamari starters were super delicious as well. The calamari was doused in tomato sauce with the perfect blend of spice, lemon, and tang. The meatballs were a little salty, but they disappeared quite fast as well. The prosciutto pizza was perfect, I couldn't get a proper picture because we dug in so fast. The waiters were super friendly and the restaurant offered us a 10% veteran discount. However the table we were seated at was under the air conditioning and it did end up dripping quite a bit on us. They tried fixing it by turning off the AC, but overall it wasn't too disruptive to our dinner experience. I would definitely return to this pizza joint, but maybe with a reservation.

This place was amazing. Definitely a top five pizza place in the United States, I had five different people tell me to come eat here and it was definitely worth the 30-minute wait for a one person sitting. The grilled zucchini was one of the best appetizer I have ever had. I did not think it could be topped and then I had the pizza, the wood fire gives you that charred thin crust taste and the toppings were fresh especially the marinara sauce. I'm so glad that I took the time to find this place in a little neighborhood and took the wait to eat there. The staff was amazing and kind, and the service was quick once I was able to be seated. If you come to Portland come to Ken's.
