I’ve been with Mission Martial Arts for over seven years, and it has truly been one of the best experiences. It’s one of the few sports that has made me feel completely accepted for who I am. The instructors genuinely care about each student’s growth and progress, and I’ve made amazing friends here who I know will last a lifetime. I’m so grateful for Mr. and Mrs. Manwell and their kids, as well as Mrs. Amin, Mr. Bradford, and Mr. Gardner of whom has played an important role in helping me build strong basics and make sure my words are heard. Martial arts has become such a big part of my life, and it’s definitely one of the things I’ll miss most when I leave Louisville for college next year.
Mission Martial Arts has been a significant part of my family for the past 5 years as I've had to drive there multiple times every week. The training my son, Krish, has received has been amazing and I am very proud of how his strength and disciple has developed. The senseis he learns under are very respectful, and I am honored anytime I'm able to have a conversation with them. If you're wondering if you should sign your kid up for classes, sign up now, and sign yourself up too.
I believe Mission Martial Arts is a great environment to be in and to learn in. I have been here for about seven years and I think it is a wonderful community to be in and it's a great opportunity to learn along with your taekwondo family. I also think that there are many people out there who will agree with me about this great place of learning. I also think that the Manwells are very encouraging and they lead the class well. They also do a great job building up the community in the class.
My kids have loved Taekwondo and they have been happily learning for over 6 years here. They have loved every class and have grown so much from this! I would definitely recommend.
I've been with Mission Martial Arts since I was five years old. This place is almost like a second home to me. I learned so many things here, Tae Kwon Do related or not. I am currently testing for my black belt and I plan to continue, even after reaching my black belt. The Manwell family are some of the most amazing people I've known. They're patient, considerate, and they always make us (other students and I) feel welcome here. I am glad to be in Mission Martial Arts and I plan to continue training here for however long it takes. The training is phenomenal and the amount of dedication put into making this place is highly respectable. At school, they go over courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit, but they don't dedicate that much time into showing us how to be these things, unlike MMA where we are constantly learning these and other key factors in life, while thriving in the Tae Kwon Do art. I am glad to have been taught in such a supportive environment such as Mission Martial Arts.- Sahasra Kodumuri
