Sanctuary Body in Fells Point has the absolutely highest quality staff, instructors and therapists anywhere, and in a beautiful former church sanctuary! PLUS free parking! Very personalized programs because it’s only one on one or very small groups. Scheduling is easy and services are affordable. My entire family goes here and it feels like a second home.
I started training here after a major surgery and pregnancy that left me way behind where I used to be physically. I've been working with several of the Sanctuary trainers for a couple months now and have had an incredible experience. They have all taken the time to learn about my body and my challenges, and have found ways for me to build strength without exacerbating my injuries. It's a major shift from how I used to work out (long-distance running) but I feel so much healthier and better with these new routines. I would recommend working with the Sanctuary team to anyone who asks!
Sanctuary is fantastic! I have been going to them since 2017 and have trained with Brandon, Pete, and Kim. My husband and I now do duets with Pete and it’s fantastic. He mixes up workout, is thoughtful about the whole body and open to modifications. He communicates with my PT to come up with best exercises to help my form. We are so so pleasure with our experience. It’s also a beautiful space.
I just started working out at Sanctuary about six weeks ago--my first workouts since COVID started. I've had several sessions with a personal trainer, plus a massage, and I'm looking forward to beginning Pilates. I've been really impressed with the staff--who are total pros and very knowledgeable--but have also appreciated their commitment to safety and health as we emerge from the pandemic. The space is beautiful, and while it isn't as capacious as some of the big gyms, I find myself preferring the quieter and more personalized experience.
Best investment I’ve made since quarantine started! I was hesitant to go to a gym during a pandemic, but Brandon and his team do and outstanding job making sure everyone is safe...and that’s coming from a nurse. I am so thankful I took the plunge and started working out at Sanctuary. My overall health, mental and physical, has improved and I genuinely look forward to each session. The whole crew is super knowledgeable...highly recommend!!
