Mei and Nancy were a dream to work with. They made me and my two bridesmaids look and feel like models. On top of that, Nancy helped my mom, who is not used to having her hair or makeup done, feel so good and confident. Mei really tries to make whatever you desire for your wedding hair and makeup doable. She even made my hair work so it would look good in an updo and taken down for my reception. She is so nice and knowledgeable of how to make you look great for your big day. I highly recommend.
Mei did an excellent job with hair and makeup for my recent wedding. I went with both the makeup trial and a day-of mobile studio option. I had never had makeup done professionally before, and wear limited makeup generally. Though the combination of trial and wedding makeup was pricey, I was glad that I did the trial so that Mei and I could chat through my preferred style more leisurely and that I could be comfortable with the plan. Communication with Robert, Mei's husband and office manager, was straightforward and comprehensive. The day of, Mei showed up exactly at 6:45am as planned. Mei has an impressive mobile studio set-up, and was able to re-create the look well and efficiently. The makeup lasted all day and showed up great in photos, and I got a lot of compliments on my hair as well. Mei is kind and easy to talk with, and she was even so kind as to offer to help re-make my DIY bouquet to include some additional flowers I had on hand -- the end result was STUNNING. Highly recommend Mei for your event hair/ makeup needs!
Mei is an expert. She did my wedding hair and makeup. I had a trial done with another makeup artist, and I didn't look like myself. So I jumped ship and hired Mei instead. Mei makes you look like an enhanced version of yourself. She did my hair way better than the photos I showed her. I also requested some changes from the trial, and she listened and did them. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! Mei really knows what she's doing, but don't be afraid to say what you like. She can't read your mind! She was also very easy and relaxing to talk to on the hectic wedding day. My makeup stayed on the whole night! My hair also still looked so good even after the wind during the outdoor ceremony. And finally, her husband Robert was also great to work with. He does the business side of things, and he was extremely responsive to all emails and questions. They both arrived on site early and ready to go at the scheduled time. Both are professionals! If you are hesitating about hiring Mei because of the price, I suggest you splurge. She's worth every penny. Don't make the mistake I did and spend money on another trial with a less-skilled artist. Thanks Mei for making me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day!
As mother of the bride, I was thrilled with my makeup and hair on my daughter’s wedding day! I had no prior experience with professional hair/makeup, and provided Mei with just general ideas. She listened to what I said, and was able to enhance my skin tone, eyes and lips beautifully - and I loved my hair! Everything held up through all the festivities, and I truly love the way I look in all the photos. Mei and Yoong are very talented, and I know everyone in the bridal party was just as happy as me. We thank both of them for helping us all to glow on such a special day!
Mei a été un vrai plaisir à travailler avec elle. Je me suis mariée sans la présence d'amis ou de famille, mais Mei a été si amicale et serviable tout au long de la journée que je ne me suis jamais sentie seule en me préparant pour mon mariage. Elle a coiffé mes cheveux et fait mon maquillage en une œuvre unique et magnifique qui me ressemblait parfaitement ('moi') (même si j'étais mauvaise pour expliquer ce que je voulais). Elle et Robert gèrent une excellente entreprise avec une communication rapide et un excellent service client. Je recommande à toute mariée à San Francisco d'utiliser Triple Twist pour ses besoins de coiffage le jour de son mariage !!!!
