Wareing's Gym est un centre de remise en forme familial et chargé d'histoire à Virginia Beach, fondé il y a plus de six décennies. Connu pour son équipement rare et bien entretenu, son personnel chaleureux et son esprit communautaire soudé, le gym propose un mélange de charme d'antan et d'entraînement moderne. Twenty-five years ago the Wareing brothers trained me to do pull ups in order to quality for admission into the United States Air Force Academy. I went on to play collegiate basketball, recently promoted to Colonel in the United States Space Force, and just passed the annual now biannual fitness test with an excellent score after having three children in four and a half years. Love this gym, love the Wareing family, and so grateful for their coaching and mentoring that set me on a lifelong positive path. Train here!
The gym is totally chalked full of character and soul. The Wareings are the kind of people that will literally let you barrow the shorts they’re wearing, so you don’t have to workout in your jeans because you forgot your shorts at home.

I really appreciate this established fitness staple in Virginia Beach. It's not just a gym, but a family legacy that has been built over six decades. You can tell that Wareing's prides itself on the close-knit feeling it provides for its members. The staff is incredibly kind, outgoing, genuine, professional, and skilled. The coaches are amazing, the classes are challenging (yet really fun), and every person I have met in the gym has a smile on their face. It has a great mix of equipment, different rooms for training needs, and a variety classes. Wareing's always supports community fitness and wellness through its many sponsored events (Hyrox and DEKA competitions free to the public, the Allen Stone Memorial Race, and the Beach Bum Classic, etc.). I've really enjoyed my time here so far and am glad that we have this gem right in our community backyard, steps from the beach.
Awesome gym with incredibly friendly staff, storied history, rare and well maintained equipment, and incredibly conveniently located near VA beach. Staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Thank you, guys!
