Quotes include personalized care based on your pet’s needs, including walks or potty breaks, feeding and fresh water, medications, litter box care, play and enrichment, basic pet cleanup, and detailed updates with photos. Vacation care may also include mail/packages, plants, lights, and trash bins. Pricing is based on the time reserved for your pets, with no additional charge for multiple pets or routine care tasks.

We primarily serve Far West San Antonio, including the 78245 area and communities near Potranco Rd., Hwy 211, Stevens Ranch, Redbird Ranch, and surrounding neighborhoods. Our regular pet sitting and dog walking service area generally extends from Hwy 90 north toward Culebra Rd., and from Redbird Ranch east toward Loop 1604. Overnight care may be available throughout the greater San Antonio area.

Visits and walks are available 7 days a week, based on availability. We schedule within flexible service windows: morning (7–10 AM), midday (10 AM–2 PM), and evening (5–9 PM). Recurring weekday visits and walks can be scheduled on a regular weekly basis, while vacation care can be booked as needed. Advance booking is recommended, especially for weekends, holidays, and peak travel periods.

Yes! After every visit or walk, pet parents receive a detailed update with 4–5 photos. We share how your pet is doing, what we did during the visit, and anything noteworthy we observed, so you can feel connected and confident while you’re away.

To prepare a quote, we’ll need your general location, number and types of pets, the services you’re interested in, preferred visit length or frequency, and your anticipated dates or schedule. Please also let us know about medications, special care needs, or anything else that may require additional time. We’ll confirm the best service options during your complimentary Meet & Greet.

Absolutely. Our owner is Fear Free Certified, and our team is trained to recognize signs of fear, anxiety, and stress. We take a patient, individualized approach and never force interaction. We allow pets to engage at their own pace and adjust our care to help them feel as safe and comfortable as possible in their own home.

Not necessarily. Buckaroo Buddies is a team, which allows us to provide reliable care even when your primary sitter is unavailable. We aim for consistency whenever possible, and every team member follows your pet’s detailed care instructions and our professional care standards. For pets who are shy or fearful, we take extra care with introductions and sitter consistency to help them feel comfortable.
