Feels like I’m part of a whole new community. Although I was very nervous it didn’t take long for the trainers let alone other members to welcome me into their family. Just do it - you won’t regret it!
Very pleased with my son’s experience so far. The dojo is top notch, the senseis at 100% Martial Arts are very good with the children and my son is enjoying himself every week. I look forward to continue this journey with them and see my son progress to higher levels while learning discipline, respect, building confidence and self defence. Thank you.
I was looking for something for my 7yr old to improve his balance, strength and confidence, as well as learn a little self-defense. This fit the bill +much more. I was blown away by the small groups the class is broken into, which for youngsters is very important to get more 1on1 guidance. My little guy has some minor developmental challenges and I have found this setting very beneficial to his growth. Although it's only been 1 month, he is steadily improving. When looking at the other level groups, the highest student/instructor ratio is 5:1 which is amazing for individualized instruction. I've read other reviews about the membership cost being high and requiring a commitment. The cost is more than swimming lessons at the city run pool. It's more comparable to similar sports programs like gymnastics, but much less costly than hockey. Additionally, kids can go everyday (5-6 classes/week), although for youngsters it's probably best to go 3 classes/week, which is a real value. Included with the membership is the uniform, belt level promotions which come with new skills development, additional 1on1 instruction +more. There are several payment options depending on your needs. There is a 1 year commitment for a membership so try the promotional program for a few weeks or more to see if it's a good fit. I had the option to simply continue with weekly payments but found the membership to be better in the long run. Everyone there has been helpful, professional, kind, and attentive to my little guys shortcomings and needs. The dojo is clean, practically new and is well maintained. I have absolutely zero complaints and highly recommend. I'd give this review a 10 star rating if I could!
Best place to bring your kids!!! My son’s self esteem has improved drastically!!! He has made lifelong friends here. The owner and staff are absolutely amazing. They make it fun and instill core values and show them the need to respect themselves and others!!! If your looking for a place for your kids to learn martial arts, don’t look anywhere else! You won’t regret it!!!!
Fantastic dojo with an absolutely amazing community. My kids and my wife are all members and they love it. Professional, well-kept, extremely welcoming, and their skill building program is second to none.
