Staff was very welcoming. Students not so much. Even had one guy throw gangs signs at me after trying to rip my shoulder out of place with an arm bar. But the staff are good people.

First class was a blast. Get there early to stretch and warm up to your preference, then straight to the head coach taking a poll of what was troubling us. Showed technique to help resolve problem sets, we hit it, reviewed same technique, released to continue. Rinse, repeat until he felt as a group we got it. Then we covered more technique, same cycle. Then finished with some rolls. Would highly recommend to new and experienced. (11 yrs experience) Free rash guard at sign up is dope. Over all good vibes

I visited here while on vacation and had a great time. The vacation pass is a great deal because you get a rashguard instead of just paying a standard drop in fee. The training was great, people were chill, and rolls were hard. Great place.

I had the pleasure of training at 10th Planet St. Pete for approximately five months, in 2022. No matter how busy he was, Peter always made time for me; whether it was answering my question about a technique, coaching me while I competed or just chatting about life. Peter treats all of his students like family and has a tremendous work ethic as a coach. If you’re interested in starting jiu jitsu for the first time or you’re looking to join a new gym, 10P St. Pete is a must. The facility, team environment and coaching is nothing short of amazing.

I started training with Peter when he ran 10th Planet Royal Oak in Michigan just before covid started. I was looking for a team atmosphere and to compete in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He quickly became one of my best friends and a huge influence in my life on and off of the mats. He inspired me to begin running and since then I’ve run 7 half marathons and have gotten in the best shape of my life. When 10th Planet St Pete was finished I didn’t hesitate to move to St Petersburg and train full time under him. He has honestly changed the trajectory of my life and I am super grateful for him! I’ve met a bunch of amazing people training here and the facility is top notch. If you are looking to change your life for the better look no further. I’ll see you on the mats!
