i’m Absolutely terrible. I called and asked to see about the pop up classes that were offered on the website, the first thing he said to me was “we don’t train children”, obviously i’m an adult so I clarify that. He then asked me who I would be coming with and I told him that i’d be coming with my friend, who’s also an adult, and he says “we don’t do that”, so I ask him what he offers then, like is this a private boxing gym, do you have to have experience? He tells me that no experience is needed and ask me to come in person to speak with him about the classes, I let him know I live about 40 minutes away and that I’d hate drive down there just to have a conversation and he turns me away. Maybe he’s just not comfortable training women, I never ever leave bad reviews but this was just terrible overall. ***UPDATE, I just had my brother call and ask if he could take a boxing class and he happily told him to come on down…. Ladies you are not welcome.
The best boxing gym in Texas!!!!! I just finished my first class and it was so enjoyable. Couch Jay is extremely professional, patient and encouraging! And I like the vibe of this gym so much it feels like I am training in movie!
Jay worked with me he’s really understanding and humble and knows how to break down everything 10/10 best boxing gym I’ve been to by far hands down and I’ve been to them all !
He’s a great coach, already taught me stuff I haven’t learned years else where. He will actually get you light sparring to where you learn and develop, not too technical and focused on the nitty gritty. If you want to actually fight, you gotta actually get in and fight and spar to learn and he does this in a controlled manner.
Talked to the Coach from 10th street Boxing and let me tell you Coach Jay is very educated about boxing loves the sport so much and even thaught me a few tips while i was there talking to him. Will definitely be coming back
