T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E I’ve never had any issues with groomers before until I came across this place (unfortunately) I’ve had my dogs groomed in Chicago, Miami, and Mexico and had no problems whatsoever. I guess there’s a first time for everything. Pathetic service, rude staff, last but not least EXPENSIVE and 0 satisfaction. This is the ONLY place to which I get a text message saying that my dog has “tangles” in their legs that for each minute is $1 I choose BATH & TIDY for the service. Not sure what “tidy” means to these people. My two girls came out worse than how they came in. Keep in mind I spent $185 and they didn’t brushed them properly nor clear their faces. It is always important to read reviews before dropping your pets to this kind of establishments. I did sensed that these people are “money hungry” rather than satisfying their clients or most importantly taking care of dogs. I should’ve had checked the reviews before coming to this place, I can see A LOT of terrible reviews. Not surprise at all! First and last time coming to this execrable place.
I’ve brought my pup here a few times and everytime they get her cut wrong. This past time I went was the last straw. I specifically told them at drop off that I didn’t want the fur in between her eyes touched. I showed them pictures, videos, and they even took photos of my desired goal so that there would be a reference to look at while cutting her fur and a clear understanding of what I was expecting. I made sure that the assistant understood that I did not want her eyes to be touched. When I went to pick up my fur baby, I was heartbroken to find that they had shaved the entire section I had specifically asked them NOT to touch. I was beside myself basically trying to hold back tears. I couldn’t believe that my directions were completely ignored. I couldn’t have been any clearer with my instructions, even mentioning that I had been unhappy with her cuts before because they always cut too much when I specify not to do this time I wanted to make sure there wasn’t any possibility of that. At pickup, the lady at the front I had spoken to at drop off seemed confused as to what happened as well. She even reiterated that I was extremely clear about what I requested and “didn’t know what happened.” And then to my horror, I find out that the owner (Valeria) herself was responsible for the atrocious cut. She had apparently used my dog to train someone without my permission and decided to take full liberty of the haircut with no respect towards my clear instructions. She ended up shaving around the eyes and my dog was given back to me looking crazy. To make things worse, I straight up told them that I’m not paying full price for a service that they fully messed up. I spoke to Valeria on the phone and she had the audacity to offer me a silly “10% discount” for messing up my baby’s face. Not once did she take responsibility on her end for being the reason why I was so unhappy and surprised. It was totally her own fault and she never took accountability. Don’t trust this place. They don’t listen to instructions even if you tell them 1000 times, provided pictures and detailed instructions. And they most certainly don’t give a crap about clients. In what world do you expect someone to pay for a service you completely messed up?? Unbelievable. In the pics: my dog before (what I asked for) vs. what I got.
I took my Pomeranian (who already looks like the cutest little teddy bear) to 21Pooch Hollywood, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The groomers here are not only incredibly professional but also super gentle and patient. They knew exactly how to shape her fur to enhance her fluffy, teddy bear look without overdoing it. She came out looking like a plush toy — soft, clean, and smelling amazing. Plus, she was clearly comfortable and happy when I picked her up, which says a lot. The space is clean, organized, and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. I’ve tried a few places around LA, but this is the first one that got everything just right. We’ll definitely be coming back for regular grooming! Highly recommend if you want your pup looking absolutely adorable and well cared for. 🐾✨
I’ve been here on two occasions. First Time: I took my friend’s dog for a haircut (it was my first time taking a dog to get groomed). I spoke with the lady there, and we agreed on a service. When I got the dog back, he looked like a huge puffball. It would have been nice if she had called me to recommend a haircut, but instead, she gave him back to me looking like an unkempt ball of fur (he’s a black dog). Literally ended up buying my own clippers and trying to cut and shape him myself .As a first-time customer, I wasn’t sure what to ask for, and I would’ve appreciated some guidance. Second Time: When I got my own puppy at 11 weeks, I took him there for a bath and haircut. Based on my previous experience, I made sure to call ahead and discuss the service for my puppy, and she recommended something. I clearly stated that he needed a haircut. When I arrived and mentioned again that he needed a haircut, she told me she didn’t have time for that based on what I booked—even though I had booked exactly what she recommended over the phone. I asked if she could fit him in later that day, but she said they couldn’t. She suggested I book a different service for another day. I ended up booking it, but I got frustrated and decided to cancel the appointment altogether. What was most concerning was that she did not ask for any vaccination records and as a first time puppy owner, I did not know that it is preferred that they are vaccinated before the first groom session. I did not learn this until after calling around other groomers . Guess it worked out for the best. Overall, they’re good at grooming, but the customer service and attitude need improvement. A little effort to communicate better would make a big difference.
I’ve been coming here for a few months now, I’m typically Leary of new places but I’m glad I gave this place a chance. I’m really happy with my fur babies results. I now take my new fur baby here and they do a wonderful job with him as well. I like I typically get the same few groomers and that allows the relationship to build which always makes your fur baby more comfortable when being left somewhere. I appreciate the service and kindness here.
