Jenina is a truly wonderful trainer! She came to our home and was always prompt and attentive. She gave us practical advice, was happy to discuss strategies for issues that we'd been experiencing and provided helpful resources to work with between training sessions. We would 100% recommend Jenina to anyone looking for help with either basic training or special needs (e.g. our baby Max is very reactive with other dogs and was exhibiting resource guarding behavior and we've already seen a huge improvement in only a month or so of working with him using the techniques that Jenina shared).

Jenina is so incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and professional--I would recommend her to anyone who needs help training their puppy or adult dog. We did the 4 session in-home training with our 2-year-old chihuahua/dachshund mix, who is very reactive and not friendly to new people. Jenina taught us and modeled certain commands and then we had the opportunity to try them on and get feedback so we were performing them properly. She was also so calm and patient throughout our sessions. Jenina provided us with helpful handouts to continue training, as it requires daily training on the owners part to ensure the skills are truly learned. We are incredibly grateful for her guidance and knowledge as it has made our dog much more secure and us more confident dog owners.

I completed the group class with my 5month old puppy and truly had an amazing time. Jenina is an excellent teacher and has such a calming presence with the dogs. Not only did I learn the specific behaviors we went over in class but it also taught me the fundamentals for training future behaviors on my own. I had a blast at class and felt it brought me even closer to my new puppy. Would recommend Smart Paws to any dog owner in the area and definitely will be contacting Jenina again when my pup goes through her adolescent phase! Thank you Jenina!

Jenina is a fantastic trainer and a great person to work with. She has taught us so much about our dog and given us a realistic training program to help us make steady progress toward our training goals. Jenina is a fantastic dog trainer. A friend recommended her and we hired her for four in-home training sessions with our newly adopted dog. She was warm, friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Our dog loved her and was very responsive to her techniques. She was very sensitive to his behavioral needs and separation anxiety issues. We love that she is focused on positive reinforcement and still use what we learned from her every day. We would highly recommend Jenina to anyone!
