My son Enjoyed C. Ayala who was his instructor for his first and last lesson. He did a great job and was professional but laid back for teens. My son had an excellent experience with 4 lakes. Would recommend to anyone considering for drivers education.
We had an excellent experience start to finish with 4 Lakes Driving School! Their staff are very professional and friendly and the process for setting up services, scheduling lessons and managing your account details was a breeze due to their nice website/portal! The pricing was very comparable and reasonable, and they have a lot of instructors so there was never a long wait in order to get everything completed!
JP and Justin were very helpful and detailed in their suggestions driving tips to work on. It was challenging to find times to get in the behind the wheel driving but I found that every time I reached out the staff was very helpful and worked with us to find times so we could complete our lessons. Overall I would highly recommend the 4 Lakes Driving School.
My teen had 2 great instructors, Bill Scheer and John Olsen, at 4 lakes. We purchased the 9 lessons and most of them ended up being just them with Bill in the car. My kid was very anxious about driving, not the typical kid who can't wait to get a license. John O was very matter of fact and calm and Sun Prairie was a good location to practice the traffic circles (not on my kids drivers test) which are everywhere it seems. Bill S was an excellent instructor. His demeanor is calm, and kind and I'd recommend him for anyone but especially for teens who are the gentle, quiet, artsy type. Bill was also flexible with scheduling directly with him which worked great for my kid. He's a very nice guy. On a side note, my kid did the online lessons with another company out of MN. 4lakes accepted that before the driving lessons began and they took the paper test in 4Lakes Office.
Huge shoutout to Judy for her exceptionally detailed pointers and feedback during her lessons! I needed to schedule lessons on some very specific days with a tight deadline, and she made it happen! She has a keen eye for detail, which enabled me to improve rapidly in my driving. Can’t recommend her enough!
