Get in Gear Driving School

Our daughter passed her driving test thanks to Julia at Get In Gear Driving School. But there's more than just that. We had tried lessons from another school after we decided that our daughter needed more expert help than I (her father) could offer. The lessons with the other school were fruitless; her driving was not getting better. Then we saw that Get In Gear Driving School had instructors who were trained in helping students with attention deficits. We talked with the owner Julia about our daughter's needs and decided to see if Julia could help. We were so impressed. Julia had some ideas ahead of time of time about what kinds of learning approaches could be helpful and which ones might not. The results were outstanding. Our daughter gained confidence and skills under Julia's tutelage, and successfully passed her test. And as importantly, our daughter now believes in herself as a driver. Every dollar spent with Julia in the car with our daughter was an investment well worth the results. Thanks, Julia!

Thanks to Julia, I was able to pass my driver’s test without a hitch. She has been a great instructor, especially as someone who has ADHD, and struggles with slow response time. She is able to describe what problems to solve that are clear and easy to understand. She is very intuitive, in what I was good at and also my weakness. I am a safer and better equipped driver after several lessons with Julia.

I'd never driven before in my life and as an adult, I was super nervous! My instructor, Bob, was amazing! Super calm, patient and encouraging the whole time. He really helped me build confidence behind the wheel. Thanks to Bob, I went from zero experience to being comfortable driving on the road. Bob is seriously the best! Highly recommend!
