We met Ali by chance at Home Depot. He was training another dog and we had been desperately searching for a dog trainer. I talked to the couple and liked what they were telling me about Ali and his program. A few minutes later we spoke to him about our pup, Chesapeake. Chesapeake was (at the time) a 4 month old lab puppy who was having some behavior problems. We couldn’t walk him because he pulled so hard he injured my shoulder. He was mouthing us anytime we tried to pet him. You couldn’t greet people without him jumping and mouthing at them. We were afraid to have him around our grandchildren as he was getting bigger and the mouthing was scaring them. We felt like we couldn’t enjoy our pup - which was sad because we love him. We called Ali the following week and set up a consultation. We met with him at a park and discussed our boy with him. Ali trained Chesapeake, and us, for 8 weeks. By the end of the 8 weeks, my grandson (7 yrs old) was not only able to walk him on a leash but could also give him commands that Chesapeake followed. We took Chesapeake to many different locations during training (parking lots, Home Depot, park, and even our own house) and were able to not only walk him with distractions, but also to set him in a “place” command and walk away without the fear of him getting up or moving. We have been so pleased with Ali and his firm but fair training program. It has given us a dog that not only respects our commands but is a beautiful addition to our family. Our pup is happier now and loves to get attention. He also loves to “work” on his commands. He is a happy pup and not only can we go on walks together but I hardly even have to hold the leash and he stays right beside me. Week 8 was hard to end our program and we miss our weekly meetings with Ali. Not only was he our pup’s trainer, he became a trusted friend. I would highly recommend Ali and his program to anyone who has a pup. Whether you are looking to fix behaviors or just add some new training, Ali and 410K9 is the right place to train your pup

Ali is an incredible trainer! Even before we met in person for him to evaluate Oscar, he had me at ease and full of hope from a phone conversation. We adopted our 1 year old pitbull back in January and couldn't understand how to properly communicate with him. He was getting into scuffles with our other dog and we were just so lost. Personal training I felt was our last option or we would have been an adoption fail. Ali came in and just completely saved our new little family! Extremely knowledgeable and explained things so openly. After our first of 8 sessions Oscar was like a totally different pup! We were able to take those tools and allow him to finally be a dog!! I 1000% recommend 410K9 to anyone that needs a more personable touch in training efforts for their fur child! He even gave us the opportunity to train our current older dog with the same questions and tool set. I am beyond grateful to have found Ali!!

We have a young rat terrier who’s an adorable little bundle of nerves. We’d already completed training at two other places, after which she started resource guarding me from my husband. It was super stressful and frustrating for all of us. I reached out to 410 K9, and Ali called me back to talk through what was going on. I decided to give it a shot, and after our very first session, I felt hopeful that things could get better. Now, after eight sessions, I’ve seen so much improvement — both in our dog and in us. She’s calmer, less reactive, and we understand how to help her. Ali explains things in ways that just make sense and addresses the problems - the dog's and ours. The dog loves him, can't take her eyes off of him and his treat bag. I’d 100% recommend Ali and 410 K9. If we ever get another dog, he’ll be my first call.

Ali is truly incredible! He worked with my dog and myself over the last 8 weeks. My dog was reactive to other dogs. In the beginning, I was unsure if my dog could be become not reactive. Ali helped to reverse that. Not only did he provide top tier training for my dog, but he educated me along the way so I have the tools and knowledge to stay consistent at home. My dog was always so excited for his training sessions and loved the interactions he received. Ali is amazing at what he does and I highly recommend him to any that is looking for a trainer!

We have loved training with Ali. We adopted a 7 m/o puppy, Cinnamon, in January and wanted to find one-on-one training since this is the first dog we have ever had (the training was more for me and my husband!). We wanted to be involved with our dog's training and have guidance to do it correctly. Ali was so patient and fun to work with throughout the whole process- we recently completed 8 weeks of balanced obedience training and even got to learn some other commands and the first steps to e-collar training in our last two sessions. Most importantly, we learned how to set Cinnamon up for success when she's learning something new, communicate effectively and how/when to make a "correction" properly (if needed). We worked hard outside of weekly sessions to practice "homework" and it really paid off. We were also able to work on her reactivity to other dogs- she now can walk by any new dog with zero meltdowns (really can't believe it- she used to scream/howl at cars and dogs on every neighborhood walk at first)!! We learned so much about Cinnamon and strengthened our bond with her, all thanks to Ali. This training is a real investment in your relationship and life with your dog and I can't recommend it enough! We are so glad we went with Ali's training package over a group class because we received high quality instruction and individual attention. My husband and I learn new skills in different ways and he even catered to our individual learning styles! In a few months we intend to continue e-collar/off leash training and we can't wait. If you're thinking about it, just do it!
