Sam and his team at 825 Salon are not only the fastest, but simply the best in the business for blo-outs. Every single time I've been, I walk away with great looking hair for days, AND i have super thick curly hair. So glad to have them in Austin!

825 Salon has become one of my go-to spots in Austin. I have been seeing Sam for almost a year, and he completely reset my color in a way that feels flattering, natural, and easy to maintain. He has a real gift for understanding what works for your hair type and your day-to-day life, and he delivers it with so much care. He has also done my hair for special events, and those appointments made me feel beautiful and genuinely supported. On lighter weeks, I love stopping in for a blowout before date night. It is simple, fun, and always exactly what I need. The salon feels peaceful and cheerful from the moment you walk in. I go to 825 Salon for my keratin treatment and they are MIRACLE WORKERS! I had a ton of new hair growth, but unfortunately it was so frizzy and unmanageable. Sam did a keratin treatment on my hair and it not only feels healthier, but it looks absolutely fantastic, and my frizz is down to a bare minimum. I will be returning to his salon again and again!

I am very disappointed in the service that I have received - or the lack thereof. I went online and made an appointment with Sam for color and blow dry a few weeks ago. 4 days before my appointment, I got a text saying he isn’t available anymore at that time and they could move me to an earlier slot that day. Due to work, I said no, and asked to be pushed any other day after 12 pm. No one replied to that text chain after this. Today (day before my appointment), I received an auto-reminder text about my appointment. So I was confused as to whether this appointment still exists or not. I decided to call the salon, and the gentleman who picked up, proceeded to tell me that Sam is not taking any new clients at this time so my appointment is cancelled unless I want to see some other stylist. I went ahead and canceled at that point because my only draw was the great reviews I heard about Sam from some friends. As a business, I would suggest to fix whatever miscommunication is happening. My appointment should have been honored or rescheduled instead of turning away business because your online system AND whoever texted me a few days ago didn’t mention anything about him not taking on new clients. And if this WAS the case, this erroneous appointment should have been cancelled right when I booked as opposed to the day before.

Had the most amazing experience with Eden! She had great convos and did amazing on my very thick 3b/3c hair. I GASPED at it as I have not had it done in over 5 years. Will be back again! Thank you again Eden
