Solid selection of plants that will actually grow in Arizona. Extremely knowledgeable staff that will help you learn how to keep your plants alive. Educational but not sales driven. They give you the knowledge and let you decide: very price sensitive and stick to your budget.

Our go to place for plants. Stopped by today to get a Christmas tree. We were kind of late getting one as we’ve been pretty busy. They were giving them away free of charge. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Very poor customer service lately. Some of them seem like they hate working there. Ive shopped here quite a bit over the years and has mostly been great, however the past several years it seems to have gone downhill. Recently I was there to purchase pair of hedge trimmers, I arrived at 5:10 and they are supposed to be open until 5:30 according to their posted hours. They were very unhelpful and turned the lights off inside making it very difficult to find anything. I mentioned it was very dark and hard to see, they just stared and seemed annoyed to have a paying customer in the store 20 minutes before closing. Their other location is much better.

One of the, if not the best nursery I've been to. Every single employee, and I mean literally all of them, are absurdly nice and extremely helpful. Not a single grumpy person in the bunch. I was looking to buy cacti and queen palms and the employee (who's name I forgot), actually recommended that I don't buy the queen palms and wait to buy them when it was better timing to plant. I sincerely appreciate that level of honesty because it only creates a more loyal customer. My only negative about A&p nursery is their selection of indoor plants. I'm not knocking it in any way because they focus on outdoor plants, however, it would be nice to buy all my plants from this location as it's my go-to nursery. They're also priced extremely well compared to Big Box store and even more so other nurseries (moon valley for instance which is absurdly expensive)
