Five stars for A Touch of Paradise for hosting my Grandfather’s 90th birthday party! The event hall was a great space to host our 75 guests from out of town. Annette, the owner, did an amazing job with the decorations, catering of food, communication and running the overall show on the night of. She was hands on and made sure the party and its guests were taken care of. Her staff was on top of it. Shout out to Rhonda. Shout out to DJ Music for keeping the tunes right the whole night. The space itself was large and didn’t feel cramped with our party. Ample room for tables and a good size dance floor. I would not hesitate to book with Annette and her staff. She will take care of you and make a memorable night filled with celebration. Small note: Parking lot is shared with other businesses. Not sure where the overflow is.

The experience that I had with A Touch of Paradise was so AMAZING, Annette and her staff were very professional, helpful, caring, and loving. Communication was kept very professional, I know that I called a lot and Annette answered every call. As soon as you step into the event hall you walk into elegance, it's like you feel the love/ passion that they put into their work. From the staff to the decorations, servers, bartender, and DJ all did an AWESOME JOB. I will definitely use the Event Hall in the near future and I will tell somebody to tell somebody that A Touch of Paradise is their go to for events.

I attended two events at this venue in the past few months. The first event I was a guest at a graduation party. The venue was beautiful, no detail was overlooked. However, the bartender (owners husband) failed to show up as planned. In addition, the deposit took at week to return. The other event was also decorated beautifully. However, the communication during the process was not acceptable. Text and phone calls would go unanswered. And again, the deposit was not returned promptly. The owner is clearly talented but lacks business skills. The DJ and photographer at both events were excellent.

I hosted a surprise party for my husband at A Touch of Paradise last week, and the venue was beautiful. It was clean, well-maintained, and Mrs. Annette’s decorations were pretty. I was also pleased with the DJ, photographer, and bartender—everything went smoothly and the event was lovely. However, I’m still waiting on my deposit as of today, which has been a week since the event. According to the contract, it was supposed to be refunded within 24 to 48 hours. After six days with no communication, I reached out to Mrs. Annette, who told me I’d have to wait until she returned from out of town to issue a check for bookkeeping reasons. This was frustrating since I paid in full a month before the event, and refunds are typically processed back to the original payment method (card). Additionally, Mrs. Annette was over 30 minutes late for our initial venue tour without any notice, which I found unprofessional, though I continued working with her due to her good reputation and reviews. While the event itself was beautiful, the lack of communication and professionalism around the refund process has been disappointing. I would recommend updating the contract’s refund timeframe, or hiring a bookkeeper to ensure faster, more efficient service. UPDATE: 1/23/2025 I’m going on my second week and my deposit has not been returned. Nor have I heard from Mrs Annette to rectify this issue. Next stop, courthouse.

My family and I just celebrated my dad’s 80th birthday, and we were so happy with the results. The venue was beautiful, the staff was friendly, the DJ interacted with everyone and made sure it was a party. Lastly, the food was excellent. Hope you enjoy the pictures, look at the faces. All this happiness to the top notch service given to us by Annette the owner of A Touch of Paradise.
