Had an emergency situation and was able to schedule it easily. Alex the technician who came out was professional and explained the work and how he fixed it well. Would definitely call them them again for any further work that may need to be done.
My great grandmother needed some assistance with electrical issues in her front 2 bedrooms and AAA sent Steven to our home who did a really good job of explaining and helping us out with the issues we are currently having. He was very respectful and kind to my grandmother which made everything easier as he did his job. Great service and if assistance is needed again I hope we get steven for the job.
We scheduled an emergency visit and agreed to the $180 emergency fee. That was the only cost disclosed before the technician arrived. Once he was here, he immediately quoted $700 to “inspect the breaker box” or $900 to “inspect the room,” before examining anything. None of this pricing had been mentioned in advance. We were then charged $739 for what was described as a diagnostic. In reality, the diagnostic consisted of the technician briefly opening the breaker panel, stating the breaker was fine, and then plugging a handheld tester into a few outlets. We had already explained clearly which wall had power and which walls did not. He continued to repeat information we had already provided, but he did not move beyond the most superficial checks. He did not open the loose outlet, did not trace the circuit, did not test continuity, and did not identify the point of failure. Once he began checking outlets, he informed us that actually diagnosing the outlet issue would require an additional $900 on top of the $739 already charged. In other words, the $739 fee did not include any real diagnostic work on the problem we called about. It only covered confirming that the breaker was functioning, which took a short amount of time and matched the information we provided before he even arrived. After the visit, I called the office to ask for clarification. The representative I spoke with, Betty, was dismissive, unwilling to explain the fee structure, and offered no justification for the charges. We were also never provided with an invoice or any written documentation of what we were being charged for, despite requesting clarity. There was no itemization, no written description of work performed, and no breakdown of the $739 fee. We do not dispute the $180 emergency fee. We do dispute the $739 diagnostic fee, as no meaningful diagnostic work was performed and the company attempted to place the actual diagnostic behind a separate $900 charge. We have filed a dispute with the card issuer and are submitting a complaint to the BBB, as well as CSLB so other customers can understand this pricing structure and the lack of documentation before scheduling service.
I wish I could’ve left 0 stars. The service was extremely expensive. The only thing that was replaced was an outlet and it cost $1000. That is insane!!! The outlet was an outdoor and he didn’t even offer or install a bubble cover over it. This place is overpriced and they do the bare minimum. I am very unhappy with the price mostly. I feel like I got robbed. There were many other electrical problems with the house but the electrician just kept tacking on more and more fees so the only thing that was fixed was an outdoor outlet (uncovered) for the price of $1000 and 4 other major issues were not complete because it would’ve cost around $10,000. No way!! I will call a friend or family member next time. An outlet is an easy fix and I feel like a complete idiot for paying the amount that I did. My husband was so upset with me for wasting that kind of money. I honestly could’ve done it myself, but I didn’t have the time and I was in a hurry to fix it. Please go elsewhere and do your research before hiring any electrician company and get a good quote before you hire.
I only gave this rate due to price and type of work done. I am the one who sanded and painted the patch work. I'll put lots of before and after pictures if this system allows. The guy knew what he was doing when it came to electrical so that's really why I went with a professional to remove the errors made by the handyman I used back in 2020. Since home owner repainted the entire house after I moved when I moved back in I noticed that the painters ripped the HDMI cables and just left it in the wall. The average cost to repair or replace a single electrical outlet, including labor and parts, ranges from $80 to $200. SO someone tell me why I paid almost $1,200 for this? It's not my house which is why I hired a professional, but I could have done this myself if I knew this was all I could legally do. Lessons learned don't try to customize a rental or you'll waste thousands fixing someone's home. I would recommend this company only to rich people.
