We had a brilliant day out with Abc boat hire from Alvechurch. We actually got lucky in that the dayboat had problems, so we got put in a holiday boat for the day, meaning extra comfort for us! The staff were lovely and told us all we needed to know and one joined us for the first 15 minutes of the trip to ensure we could steer okay. The boat was brilliantly equipped for us to cook a meal on board, with good heating and comfy seats. The route was pleasant from Alvechurch to Hopwood to Alvechurch towards Tardebigge and back which was enough to fill the day. I preferred the scenic Hopwood direction, as the other way had tunnels and muddy edges we got stuck in a couple of times. We would recommend hiring from them.

We found this a really good experience. The staff very friendly and every efficient. The boat was very clean. The staff helped us choose the route which suited us perfectly 👌 as the weather was very hot and many canal were low of water. Overall it was a fab experience.

Enjoyed a lovely week on one of the boats of ABC Alvechurch. We absolutely loved it! My uncle wanted to relive some memories, which we did together with him, which made it more special. The boat is well-equipped, good mattresses, and good facilities. Staff very helpful and friendly. Again, Many thanks and I would definitely recommend and come back again!
