To say I was severely anxious about my appointment is an understatement. I hadn’t had intimate waxing done since long before the pandemic, I have body hang-ups and insecurities, I’d gained weight, I’d been unwell. The unknown. The list is endless. It’s not easy putting yourself in a vulnerable position with a then ‘stranger’. I need not have worried at all. About anything. Robbie was PHENOMENAL- not only at his job, but in his ‘way’ - his energy, a calming vibe and also a tremendous conversationalist. It literally made the time go by so quickly. I couldn’t be happier with the results and I wouldn’t think twice about undeservedly recommending Robbie to others and I’ll definitely be making return visits! Thank you Robbie- you’re a true gent :)

Booked in Full arms, Legs, back, chest and shoulders last minute, as was going on holiday. Robbie is such an amazing and professional gent. Made me feel very comfortable and also, a very knowledgeable person overall. Had so many different conversations whilst being waxed and couldn't even tell the time and hardly any pain. Very thorough and a perfectionist, didn't miss anything. If you need a wax, just book him in! Going to book a sports massage next!

Lovely to meet Robbie was a bit nervous first time but he totally put me at ease. Nice relaxed studio. Had a full back wax. Very professional minor discomfort as you’d expect from waxing however Robbie very confident and skilled at what he does. would highly recommend.

I first visited Rob at 'Absolute Wax' about ten months ago, and I have been back regularly ever since. I'm a keen fell walker and had been having problems with my knees and tendons, and my first session with Rob produced instantaneous beneficial results. I have been back on a fortnightly basis and I now walk the hills more easily than I have done for years. Rob is a very nice guy and and extremely competent masseur. Apart from intensive work on my knees, I now enjoy a 90-minute massage session on a regular basis. There is nothing else I know that is so totally relaxing. Rob works from home and it's easy to get to his apartment, adjacent to the Birkenhead Tunnel entrance (or exit !). Parking is easy, and if you're coming by train, then it's just a four minute walk from Hamilton Square Station. Rob's prices are very competitive. And if you book a 90-minute (or an hour), then you get the full time - no early cut offs. You will find Rob a very welcoming guy, and he will put you completely at ease. I was apprehensive on my first visit, but the beneficial results of the massage combined with the total relaxation made me wish I had contacted him years earlier !! If you've never had a massage or waxing, then give Rob a ring and make an appointment. John
