First time coming here was our Mother's Day and the second time was for my mom's birthday and both times I must say it was a great experience. The customer service it's always perfect. The food is exceptional I must say you actually get what you pay for. I did hear that they filed for bankruptcy I hope whoever buys the franchise doesn't change a thing.

Our server was great. The presentation of food great and it fooled me because the food was not good. The margarita was horrible. I hadn’t been here in a while but I remember the food & drinks being better than this. Also, the women’s bathroom was disgusting.

It was our first time visiting this location, we were greeted with a smile by the hostess and seated right away. Cristal was our server and we soon found her to be an asset to the establishment for sure. She was quick to bring water and take our drink orders, we chose the frozen house margaritas, grande of course! The chips were warm, light, and crisp. They were served with a trio of salsas. One was a spicy roasted pepper, the next was a verde, I believe hatch chili and pineapple, and the third had a smoked pepper flavor. For our entrees we both ate the same meal, mi' abuelos manjar. It was tasty and very HOT. Three enchiladas with 2 fried sunny side up eggs on top, also the standard rice and beans. We both left with midnight snacks. The quality and amount of food was proportionate to the price. This is definitely a date night destination. So if you made it this far into the review just go ahead and plan a surprise dinner with that someone special!

This was my first time visiting Abuelos as I don't live in the Dallas area. I was impressed. The food and the atmosphere were perfect. Our waitress, I think her name was Sybil, I forget, but her name started with an 'S', gave exceptional service. She was polite and friendly. She checked on us frequently, refilled drinks, and refreshed our salsa and chips. I had the special chimichanga, and it was delicious.
