arrived within 15 minutes, had the lock replaced within 30. insane pricing though, total was about $800 for my apartment for lock replacement. another locksmith quoted me $130 for the same job the next day, should've shopped around. edit: the owner claims that I was never a customer, so here's the redacted bill

Called and was told he could be at my house in 20 minutes. And he was! Quick, professional, personable. What more do you want? Will definitely call next time. Just hope I don't lock myself out again!

got locked out of my apartment in Diamond Heights, San Francisco, and needed an emergency lockout service fast. After calling a few places, Ace Locksmith SF was the only locksmith that sounded professional and clearly familiar with the Diamond Heights area. Alex, the technician, arrived quickly and handled the emergency lockout without damaging the door. The lock was old and not very secure, so I decided to change the locks while he was there. Alex explained the options, installed a new deadbolt, rekeyed everything on the spot, and tested all the keys before leaving. What I appreciated most was how calm and straightforward Alex was during the whole process. The pricing was clear, there was no pressure, and the work was done carefully and efficiently. It felt like dealing with a local, experienced residential locksmith who actually knows what he’s doing. If you’re in Diamond Heights and searching for a locksmith in San Francisco for an emergency lockout, lock change, or rekey service I would absolutely recommend Ace Locksmith SF
