tl;dr: I am a runner and Ali solved a chronic series of calf knots in only 3 sessions because of his excellence in acupuncture. Last spring, I got a calf injury when a series of stubborn knots cropped up on my leg. I had a PT on the East Coast alleviate some of the pain, but it slowly crept back up over the summer and was impeding my form after I moved back to California. I worked with Ali in October over 3 sessions and had jaw-dropping week over week improvement. I realized my treatment last spring had never actually resolved the issue, but Ali was able to resolve months of tightness. Treatment was so successful that I was able to get a new PR in a half marathon this last weekend after thinking 4 weeks ago I wouldn't even be able to race it. Amazing! Highly recommend for other runners and athletes.

Over the past couple of years, Andrew has treated and resolved both a long-standing issue (chronically weak ankle) and more recent ones (calf muscle tear, hand injury), greatly to my relief. He is an excellent practitioner who carefully listens and correctly diagnoses. I recommend him highly.

I came to Ali as a new patient after dealing with pretty severe heel pain from plantar fasciitis. A podiatrist had recommended switching shoes, adding inserts, and stretching, but even after following all of that advice, the pain persisted. With my wedding only two weeks away, I was desperate for relief and decided to give acupuncture a try. After my first session with Ali, I was still a bit skeptical since the pain was still intense, but after my second appointment, the difference was incredible. It was like night and day. I’ve had zero pain since then and was able to walk comfortably in heels on my wedding day! Ali truly works wonders. He’s knowledgeable, kind, and takes the time to understand what’s going on before tailoring treatment. I’ll absolutely be back if I ever have another flare-up. I can’t recommend him enough!

Great treatment for my pinched nerve issue. I worked with Ali - very professional, and very experienced with complicated sports-related things, as opposed to other places that provide more of a spa experience. He understood my scenario very quickly and we got right to work. Two days after my first session with Ali, I have significantly improved range of motion, reduced muscle tightness, and reduced nerve pain. Strongly recommend for athletes dealing with decades of wear & tear and still getting after it. I'll be back.

I have been going to Andrew since a shoulder surgery 9 years ago. I now go to him for all my acupuncture/massage needs. I trust Andrew and love how honest he is as well as professional.
