Adelaide Arcade is a beautifully preserved heritage arcade that feels a lot like Sydney’s Strand Arcade with its elegant detailing and old‑world charm. It’s home to a quirky mini museum that adds a fun historical touch, and the mix of boutique stores makes it an easy, enjoyable place to wander through in the city.

Adelaide Arcade is a beautiful place to visit. The architecture is unique and full of character reflecting its Victorian era origins. It opened in 1885 and is one of the oldest shopping arcades in Australia. Inside, there is a small museum that explains its history. The fountain in the centre is lovely and gives the arcade a calm atmosphere. Outside, the street is lively with music and performers, and the contrast between the outdoor energy and the indoor elegance makes the whole visit memorable.

We visited this historic mall which is near the hotel where we were staying. It has a classic feel, from the architecture to the floor tiles. It has an interesting variety of shops and we spent some time browsing here.
