This is such a warm and welcoming place! We just happened to walk in after dinner, and met Nicole who was enthusiastically showing us all the beautiful art and telling us some of the stories behind it. We ended up leaving with a smaller piece that we really loved! It was just a really nice experience, and we’re so glad we went in! Thank you!
The gallery is owned and operated by two very knowledgeable and passionate local art lovers; they’re actually sisters. This gallery is a breath of fresh air when compared to the stuffy pretensions reputation of most fine art galleries of the past. Over the years, I’ve always felt welcomed and invited, and I’ve always been in complete awe at their stunning collections and fun-filled receptions. I would definitely recommend any art enthusiast, admirer, and/or collector, to go and visit Adelman Fine Art.
This is my *favorite* gallery in San Diego! Nicole and Phylicia are so supportive of the artists they represent and their gallery is always full of bright colors and incredible texture. My love for AFA started with the Sisters letting me “babysit” two paintings in my apartment while the gallery was closed for a few weeks; now I’m a proud collector of works by several Adelman-represented artists, including my favorites: Iris Scott and Misun Holdorf. I have three commissioned pieces that were such joys to work on because of how easy AFA made the process. My home is *filled* with Adelman Fine Art! Check them out if you’re in Little Italy; always good vibes in there, even if you’re just browsing! #artyouenjoy
Such a welcoming vibe and amazing owners who let you browse around and answer any and all questions about the art. My favorite exhibition was when they posted pictures of what inspired the paintings. Definitely a great way to spend some free time on a weekend in little Italy
