Añejo isn’t popular for no reason! This is one of those spots that you’d want to come back to! They have reasonable prices, great selection for drinks and food as well. We got the nachos and tried all the margarita flavours. Btw the cucumber and cilantro is the best! If you’re going to visit make sure to book a reservation or be prepared to wait 30-40 min for a table (if you’re coming on a busy night like Friday or Saturday)
10/10 experience! My girlfriends and I went out for tacos and we were greeted with fantastic service, shoutout to our server Kris. We ordered the table side prepared guac and let me tell you this was a 5 star production that tasted absolutely divine, I highly recommend! We also ordered some tacos which were great, simple and satisfying. Everything was well worth the price and there was hardly a wait, which is something that always adds good vibes to an experience. Can't wait to come back here and bring everyone I know!
Stopped by Añejo for dinner with my boyfriend, and overall the experience was good—but nothing wow-worthy or memorable enough to bring us back. The entrée was a mixed bag: the shrimp was delicious and well cooked, but the rice was bland and the vegetables were disappointing. The broccolini, in particular, was very undercooked with an overly tough stem. Not worth the price, if you’re only enjoying the couple shrimp on the plate. On the bright side, the house salsa tasting plate was great—we tried several salsas we’d never had before, and the guacamole truly is worth the hype. The churros were also great. The ambiance is nice and fresh, great for photos and presentation. Unfortunately, the service fell short. We had to ration our water, poured our first glass ourselves, were missing utensils, and didn’t receive much attention throughout the meal. All in all, it’s worth trying if you’re in the area and want a good atmosphere, but for the price, there’s far better Mexican food out there—whether in a small town spot or even something as simple as a well-made bowl at Chipotle.
Well worth of price. 5 out of 5. 8 tacos and 2 margaritas during happy hours will cost you under 60$. We went to the same restaurant (its a franchise) in Banff first and were pleasantly surprised how cheap but nice quality were drunks and food :) I even tipped the Banff bartender as he made couple of customized drinks for me and my boyfriend. P.S. don't order mango, go with guava margaritas. Also chicken and beef classic tacos were the best in my opinion 😋
Fantastic, fresh and delicious food. We ordered 6 tacos in braised beef and chicken, along with a starter of Flautas. Everything was hot fresh and delicious. The variety of hot sauces available accommodate every type of spicy food tolerance. The spicy mayo was smooth and comforting, and perfect heat to enjoy! Tres leches cake was so good, almost forgot to take a picture!
