I used them for the first time today to update my cat's rabies vaccine. I was able to join the wait-list online and follow my place in queue. The staff were very friendly, the price was fantastic, and I was on and out in less than 10 minutes. I'll definitely be using them again and encouraging my friends in animal rescue to do the same!

First time here & everyone was super helpful, we called multiple times and they were kind and informative, and also very affordable for our cat Phoebe. Kailee helped us at the front desk & made the experience very welcoming. Also great pet toy selection!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Affordable Veterinary Services of VA and the amazing team here—especially Sara and Dr. Cubelo! ❤️ I’ve been bringing my sweet Beagle puppy, Chanel, here since she was just 8 weeks old (she’s now a happy, healthy 7-month-old!). My sister referred me after taking her Shorkie, Ferrero, here from puppyhood too, and I’m so grateful she did. From the very first visit, the staff has been incredibly gentle, loving, and attentive—treating Chanel like their own baby every time. There’s zero stress or worry when I walk through the door because I know she’ll be handled with so much care and kindness. Today was a perfect example: They gave Chanel her Bravecto injection (which will protect her for a full year—such a relief!), and she didn’t cry or fuss at all. Sara and Dr. Cubelo were so patient and skilled; Chanel was completely relaxed and happy the whole time. We come here for all her vaccinations, flea/tick preventatives, and any other needs, and the service is always top-notch—affordable, quick, and full of love. Sara, you’re a rockstar—your gentle touch and genuine affection for the pets shine through every visit. Dr. Cubelo, thank you for your expertise and for making sure Chanel stays healthy and protected. You both make this place feel like family! Posting this review with a photo of our visit (shoutout to the adorable dog toy basket giveaway—fingers crossed for those 3 entries! 🐶🎁) because places like this deserve all the love and recognition. If you’re looking for a caring, low-cost vet in the Hampton Roads area, look no further—Affordable Veterinary Services of VA is the best! Highly recommend to every pet parent. 🐾✨ Thank you, Sara and Dr. Cubelo—you’re the best!

Have been bringing my kitten, Grime for vaccines and love love love these people! Lots of love felt and great prices! Grime is a sweet girl with a fondness for flesh at time, but nevertheless my baby always leaves happy and feeling safe. I will always recommend Affordable for any vaccine needs! Kailin was amazing!!

I like the services offered the same day for basic care. The staff handles your pet and brings your pet back to you as you wait in the waiting room. It's a quick visit without a large bill. They communicate so you understand rather than using medical terminology that you have no idea what they are talking about. Also, monthly flea and tick preventative are lower cost compared to a vets office. I'm very satisfied.💗
