food i was not impressed. just another way to cook sysco foods.. got the noodles lacked flavor. that brings me to service.. the gen z young gal at the counter is kind of rude condisending and i asked for a sause to cover the bland food up and she was like" i can give you a small" first off "your food sucks bad enough im asking politly" 2nd i wasnt wanting a gallon. didnt need to be said but of corse someone like her has to open her mouth and have some last word.... eye roll.. food cools off quick so dont expect a hot meal after waiting 10 min for some noodles and chicken... atmosphere is well cheep... its ok for a start up and i wouldnt judge the over all exp off that. its ok here but service is garbage and the food isnt worth it to me.. much better places

We were very happy with our visit. The food was good and the servings are huge. Fast service also.

I was very happy with my first experience here. I ordered steak and mushroom hibachi with fried rice, spring rolls, and crab Rangoons. Everything was well cooked. The fried rice was nice and fluffy while, steak and mushrooms tender. Crab Rangoons looked to be in house made, they were generously filled. Each item came with its own sauce: sweet and sour, sweet chili, and siracha mayo (saw them making this themselves through the window). I was happy to be able to order and pickup through the drive thru. The menu is clear and easy, even the speaker worked well. Overall cost was very reasonable considering the generous entree portion and overall quality of my meal. I look forward to trying other items on their menu and will recommend others to try.

This place was soooo good! You can never go wrong with veggies, rice and meat. I got the steak and chicken bowl. The husband got the steak and shrimp bowl. Some Japanese fried chicken (which was like boneless wings) and the pork eggrolls. Whatever the sauce was the serve with the bowls was fire and I need more next time. I will for sure be back.

17 February 2025 Quick update I wanted to try something else today, so I tried the Fried Gyoza and Teriyaki Chicken with broccoli and steamed rice. I enjoyed the steamed rice much more than the fried rice. Both the appetizer and the entree were very good. I don't understand why the fried rice was so greasy. It isn't greasy when I order fried rice from Chinese food restaurants. I forgot to mention that Akita accepts Apple Pay. I really appreciate that. --------------------------------------------------------- 16 February 2025 First visit It's too bad that Lincoln lost a Burger King, but its closure created an opportunity for another restaurant. It's cool that we ended up with a Japanese food restaurant. I knew about Akita because I drove by it several times, but it wasn't until I read a 5 star review on Yelp that I decided to give it a try. I ended up going there for dinner tonight. After looking at the menu for a few minutes, I decided to try the Chicken Karaage for the appetizer and the Hibachi Chicken with fried rice for the entree. While the fried chicken appetizer was good, I don't believe it was worth the $6.95 price. I am sure the cook made a mistake in my favor and gave me the Hibachi Steak because what I got looked and tasted like steak. I'm ok with that. The steak, mushrooms, and fried rice were good, but the fried rice was a bit greasy. As for the sauces that came with the meal, the one that's yellow was just ok. It had a hint of spiciness that I really didn't notice until I exhaled. I felt it in my nose. The orange sauce was excellent. I tried both with the fried chicken and steak. I didn't have to wait very long for my food. It was served hot and fresh too. I ate inside this time because I wanted to see the inside of the restaurant and take pictures. The staff was friendly. I recommend taking your own silverware if you are going to eat there because they only give customers a plastic fork. Will I be back? Yes. I enjoyed the food, and I look forward to trying their other options.
